These numbers look great on my house, but I didn't open the packages (each number is packaged separately) before handing them over to my handyman to be installed. A few days later, I was standing out in the yard, looking at the house, and I thought the numbers looked odd. I went up close to them, and the 7 is lighter than the other three numbers. I was really disappointed. Most people don't notice it until I mention it, but it just made me sorry I didn't check them before they were installed. Later, I was at Lowe's and they had some similar numbers, also in varying colors. Two staff members were there, and I mentioned that I had the same situation. The manager of that dept. said that they placed an order for the numbers they were short on, and the new ones came in as a different shade, even though they were named the same color. So check them before you install them. Apparently the company did not match the colors from last year's model. I will probably need to remove them and spray paint all of them so that they look uniform. That's a nuisance I shouldn't have to deal with.

You can imagine my surprise when we noticed that the finish was coming off the numbers just as we were ready to install them. The item was supposed to be aged bronze but I'm not sure what it's made of. We also had a problem with one of the fittings snapping off - a little superglue seems to be holding it. Such a shame...they looked so nice in the package.
