One earlier reviewer mention this is not good for hot food. I wonder how hot was their food?
We use it for a wonton party, the soup and wonton was coming out of the pot boiling hot and the spoon held up for all our guests.
Maybe they have changed their formula for better plastic?

I was planning to use this for our party to present certain appetizers but it did not work because the spoon was too deep for a one full bite. I should have chosen something with a shallow bowl. Certain appetizers probably will work like soupy slippery food:). But I like the fact that it can stand well and hold and display food on the plate plus its competitive price. I will certainly use these some other time.

I have a set or porcelain spoons that I use for parties along with my other glass tasting dishes, but when I had the opportunity to cater for a more casual event I opted to try these and skip the hand washing. These were perfect and not a one was broken upon arrival and in the end I tossed them in the trash which felt so good! They are heavy weight and could be washed and reused a couple of times if you wanted and could also be recycled if available in your area. No complaints.

I bought these spoons for a NYE party. Overall they worked OK, but I found them to have less capacity than expected and they definitely felt a bit fragile/cheap. If you're just looking for something interesting to plate food for a relative low-key occasion and then toss them out, these will work just fine.
