Although the price is a little heavy, I'd say this mouse makes up for it in functionality. It ditches the old programmable buttons, and steps forward in a new simplistic approach to computer accessibility. The buttons are made of a high quality s***ty plastic, and they have a very loud crunch feel to them, I can tell they were designed with the environment in mind. It's also extremely light-weight because of its "nano" name. Verbatim has taken portability to a whole new level with this.

Expensive, yes, but worth every penny. This little dynamo has inside a 12-layer deep neural net powered by a core of einsteinium-253. I tried it out on slashdot and it would only let me upvote the articles based on double blind trials. Be careful though. Half life is 20.47 days. So stock up!

The description for this mouse says it has a programmable Roller. IT DOES NOT. I found this mouse on two other sites including Verbatim and they all say it's programmable. I called Verbatim tech support and they say it is not a programmable mouse. Also, while it never said it has them, it also does not have back/forward buttons on the side like most mice. This mouse is cute. That's about it.

Edited: I changed my rating from 5 to 3 stars, they work fine, but they don't last. I've had 3 of these, 2 of them did not last beyond 12-18 mos. One of them jammed after a minor impact and then refused to work, another just quit for seemingly no reason, tried new batteries, a number of on-line suggestions, to no avail. Had to throw away.

I prefer a mouse over track pad, and this wireless version is outstanding. Very ergonomic and low effort, left, right click, and wheel, which is so convenient for moving around pages, perform flawlessly. No drivers, just plug dongle into USB port, insert 2 AAAs in mouse, and you're good to go. Doesn't interfere with track so they can be used together. Can't be adjusted, which some may not like, but the default speed, movement is very responsive, perfect for me. Dongle is small enough to leave in even when I pack computer in case. I really like the range, don't know limit, but I can sit in recliner and run the mouse on chair, clothing, etc. Battery tip: If mouse becomes erratic, probably the batteries. Will last a good while when left on all the time, but much longer if you turn off overnight (switch on bottom).

I wanted a small mouse for use with my laptop. the packaging stated "Go Nano, notebook mouse." The mouse that came was normal size not a smaller version of a computer mouse. In small print on the backside of the packaging, one finds that there is a "Nano Receiver" with a full size mouse. It's not what I was looking for. This will be a back-up mouse.

I had looked a long time for this item. Like the "no-wire" feature, for sure. Husband used to have one years back; don't know what happened to it---between moving, getting new computer, etc, after his demise. So just tolerated the wired one with the new system, but it got very irritating! So glad I found this one on Amazon.com!

This mouse worked for a good amount of time and then just stopped working. Usually when the batteries drained out, the mouse would stop working but the red light underneath would still be lit up. After a while, the mouse just stopped working, the light stayed lit up, but fresh batteries wouldn't fix the problem.
