I have a baby bunny that is expected to grow to be of medium/large size once she's done growing. When we got her about a week ago, the guy at the pet store told us that a cage that is two feet long and one foot wide would be plenty big enough for her, even as an adult. Much to my disdain, when I did some research I realized exactly how wrong he was. We had already bought a cage, but we decided to upgrade her immediately so we could return the previous cage.
I began researching and I found that this cage was meant to be plenty big. I read the reviews which were all comforting and we made the leap to get this grand cage. I was nervous ordering from this provider because they weren't Amazon itself but it was the only way we would get the cage quickly. We ordered the cage on March 27 and it was expected to arrive between April 1 and 3. I was incredibly happy when the Fed Ex man knocked on our door and handed us the massive box that contained this beast of a cage on March 29.
We ripped into the box and pulled out all the pieces, then stopped to gape at how massive the base of the cage was. It didn't take long to assemble the thing, though the instructions could have been a bit more clear. Right after assembling it, I knew that this cage would be plenty big for my bunny, even after she grows into an adult rabbit and we add a litter box to the cage. There's so much room that she'll be able to comfortably sprawl across the ground. I was worried that the entrance would be too big for my little bunny (it's pretty high off of the ground), but she jumped through the entrance just fine. The stairway to the food dish is a bit steep too, which we couldn't really fix, but she was able to jump up that too without a problem.Read more ›

As a first time rabbit owner, I was leery about what products were best to buy for my bunnies. The petstore recommended this cage form me because of its large size, and it was an awesome purchase! Assembly was a little complicated, but after it was put together, the cage has been amazing! The wire top has four clamps to keeps bunny inside, but it pops right off for easy cleaning. There are multiple openings to take out bunny, and my bunnies immediately felt at home. This is an extremely well made and durable product. I was surprised by the durability of this. I would definitely recommend this product.

I bought this cage after researching tons of cages over a six week period. I recently purchased a Holland Lop from a breeder. I chose him when he was just two weeks old, and then had to wait another six weeks before picking him up. I looked at outdoor vs. indoor cages, did a lot of research, read a lot of reviews. I decided not to keep the bun outside, but inside in a heated garage. Since this breed is the smallest size bun, I was worried that predators may get into an outdoor cage, plus the buns tend to eat the wood inside and overall, there are no truly weather proof outdoor cages. Most have to be brought in during the coldest of winters and the outdoor cages tend to look horrible after a year or so of being exposed to harsh temperatures. I love this cage and have no regret in purchasing it. I have read many reviews of there being difficulty in assembling the unit. The directions are not great, but I had no issues at all with assembly. Perhaps, it is because I am visually oriented and the instructions were in picture format. The base is one solid piece. The cage is comprised of four sides, door obviously opening in the front. The metal cage is held together with eight "L" clips (four for bottom, four for top), which snap into place. The lid took a coupe tries, but you can't mess it up. The pieces will only fit one way. I assembled unit myself in about twenty minutes.
