I used this Figure 8 AC adapter as a replacement lead for my Microsoft Surface Book charger. The OEM original charger supplied by Microsoft was simply too short. I found myself using extension cables with it and so I looked for a product that would satisfy my thirst for a longer cord. This cord matches the exact specifications of the stock Figure 8 cable provided by Microsoft (125V 2.5A). This 6 foot cable will extend the reach of your charger and make it easier to use your Surface device on the go. I would imagine that this cable should also work with the other Surface chargers (Surface Pro 3, 2, etc). I have been using this cable for the past month and I have no problems whatsoever with it. Highly recommend this cable.

This cord works great. I lost the cord to my speaker system and needed a replacement. I bought this one because it would fit my speaker and it was a bit longer than the original cord. It works great and feels like it will be durable. I haven't had it long so I can't say whether or not it actually is, but it feels like the same cord that I originally had, just a bit longer.

This cable is a Monoprice and if you have dealt with them before then you already know they make decent quality serviceable stuff and for a very nice price! I purchased it to replace a failed light fixture cable and it works perfectly for the use intended. Gauge was thick enough to inspire confidence and while pre-fab, the ends seem solid and durable.

I used this in conjunction with my Microsoft Surface tablet's charger. The original factory charger that the surface comes with is way too short. I have been using this cord for over 6 months during my first semester in college. I haven't found any problems and I would recommend this to other people with short surface chargers.

Worked perfectly. My original figure-8 power cord that I used for a SATA/IDE Hard Drive connector (Model: SPP34-12.0) to hook up internal computer hard drives to a computer externally was damaged behind the actual figure-8 connector end to where it had become a fire hazard.
The new connector didn't look "exactly" like the one in the picture (no holes in the 2-pronged connector which are not important as they only exist to help in the manufacturing process of holding the metal prongs in place while the plastic cord is put on) and it was a little bit of a squeeze but a little wiggling and it went right into the power block and worked like a charm!
