I have a 38 Special Revolver. Pulling the gun in and out is awkard at best. I hope I never have to do it quickly! There is a nylon wrapping at the top that is not completely sewn down on the inside top. The gun snags on this on the way out. The bottom stitching comes around so that the trigger cover kind of pops into the holster, so it's a tight fit into the mouth of the holster. I'm hoping it will get better with use. I hate sending things back, so I will use this for now.

I have a S&W J frame 38 Special and the description of this case: " Bulldog Cases Pink Belt and Clip Ambi Holster (Fits Most Small Frame Revolvers with 2 - 2 1/2-Inch Barrels, S & W J Frame" is misleading. It is an awkward fit. I've carried it around the house hoping to "break it in" but every time I pull it out, it either snags or brings the whole case out. The snap is hard to open/close. The color is not as bright as pictured. It's more of a light pink. I don't use it to carry any-longer, I use it when I keep it in the house and transfer it from different areas, so at least I have some use out of it.
