Although my two female Bettas, and occasionally Ghost Shrimp, will eventually eat these endlessly floating food, I find that the pieces are far to large to be eaten by medium to small betta fish. The pieces are also very hard at first making it nearly impossible for them to be swallowed, it a long waiting game to see if they even eat them once they have become soft.

As others have said, these 'mini' pellets are actually quite large and it's taking the fish a bit to get used to them. I've found that, if they sit in the water a bit, they soften, and then the fish will have at them.

Unfortunately, though, I've also found that when they sit too long, they discolor the water a bit.

The fish will eat them, however, and seem to enjoy them so four stars for that. However, it means extra maintenance on my part.

Basic food that does its job, though I prefer the smaller pellets that the fish enjoy and eat right away.

I've only had my betta for 5 days now so I can't write too much into if he actually prefers this. However, I will say this has definitely improved and brightened his color! I believe this may be too hard for him as he usually waits until they sink to eat them. I will be looking into another type to compare and find what works best for him. If your betta prefers pellets, this might just be the option for you.

Pellets were a little larger than I had expected. They are quite large for the Beta to hold on to and the Neons can only suck them a little.

If you have a small betta and the normal betta pellets are too big for them, try this one. It is considerably smaller. The other betta food out there are huge by comparison and my little betta would try to eat it, choke, spit it out, eat it again, choke, and go through this 3 more times until the pellet was so water logged, he was able to break it down. This one is so small that my betta eats it in my bite.

These are terrible! They say they will not make tank cloudy dirty! I counted the exact amount it says to give per fish and these destroyed my tank! Had to clean it all out! These are terrible!!!!!! Wouldn't buy these ever again! Only got one star because it had to have a star!

I normally feed my Bettas Tetra pellets but it took them a little while to get used to this plus version. The pellets are smaller than their other types, but it doesn't seem to be that big of an issue. So far so good.

Our betta fish didn't care for this. I noticed that our betta fish was spitting out food so I assume that the food that we were giving him was just too big however upon giving him this mini pellet, we realized he just doesn't like pellets. we assume he just likes the betta flakes from the same brand since he seems to enjoy those more.
