My granddaughter is used to sleeping at nap time and bedtime with this cd, Got one so that when she's staying with us she has some of her comfort from home with us! It is a great cd. I have thought about using it for me when I can't get to sleep!!

While nannying for newborn twins this summer, their mom made a playlist with many of these songs in it. The babies always were calmed by them. Even I fell in love with these gently lullabies as I am purchasing the CD for myself for when I have kids. Perfect!

I was very pleasantly surprised by this album. I periodically keep my 5 month old granddaughter overnight and was looking for something that I could use to rock her to sleep. The instrumentals on the album are extremely soothing, and the melodies flow seamlessly from one to the next. By the time the album ends, my granddaughter is in a deep sleep for the night and I am totally relaxed, too. This bedtime ritual has been so successful that I am ordering copies of the CD as gifts to new parents. I recommend it to others who are looking for an alternative to lullabies that can be sing-song rather than soothing.
