We have the whole first floor of our home in oak flooring. When we bought the house the seller left us many african animal inspired area rugs. Not my choice I like the more traditional/transitional. Looked in many stores wanting various sizes of rugs of the same pattern 8 ft round, ovals, etc. Unless you special order in the stores for big money you just can't find them. I decided to look on Amazon and found these rugs. They come in many sizes, colors, patterns and we were able to get the sizes we need in compatible colors and designs. We received the rugs and they are beautiful. Keep in mind these are wool rugs and will shed for a while at first - normal with all wool woven area rugs. Not an issue for me. Took a couple of days for them to lay flat from rolling during shipping but they are gorgious!

I bought three of these and they still look great 5 years later (still shed and fill up my vacuum!)
Beware that the PINK color in this rug is very prominent. It's ok because the rugs are underneath kitchen table, coffee table, etc, but the one in my foyer has a lot more PINK than I wanted.

This runner is beautiful, but sheds terribly. I have to vacuum at least every other day. If it were not for that I would rate it five stars. It is very thick and looks expensive.

Update: This rug has now changed shape. It is no longer perfectly straight. Unfortunately, it curves slightly but enough to notice down my long hallway. I purchased two of these for my "L" shaped hallway and they have both done this. I'm not as happy as I wanted to be. Shedding also continues to be a problem five months later.

Very happy with this carpet especially for the money. The square size is not very common and fits great under my square coffee table. The colors are good. Nice black background. The yarns are a little thicker than other carpets I have but it gives the rug a nice, casual feel for my family room.
