Complete waste of money, or at the very least, over priced for a tub that does little more than hold water.
It's described as having hydro jets, but merely has 4 spouts that trickle water out like a small drinking fountain.
The "massaging" action comes from a single post in the center, that is awkward and has little power.
The blue LED lights do nothing, but offer a "soothing" visual, but I don't sit and stare at the tub while using it.
It does not heat the water, merely intended to keep the water warm. It doesnt even do that well. Water cools very rapidly.
I haven't tried them all, but there must be better products available in this price range.

Ive found Amazon reviews very helpful in the past, so I hope it helps you to know that me and my aching feet were very disappointed with this product.

I rec'd this foot spa along with another one made by Conair over the holidays. I had asked for one after my much older model one (also a Homedics) finely died out on me. Biggest difference between the two I rec'd is the Conair had a bubble feature under your feet and the thing that actually rubbed your feet was located above the water and in-between your feet. Ultimately, I chose this Homedics spa for the following reasons: (1) I believe my old spa went out due to adding foot salts to the water, which may have gotten clogged in the bubble feature, even though I always thoroughly cleaned it out after use. This spa does not have the bubbles, hence, less likely to clog. (2) I enjoy the vibration feeling on my feet. (3) the actual thing that you put your feet onto to get more of a pressure massage is completely submerged in the water, so no cold feet while getting the pressure point massage. It does not move around, so that is also a plus for me.

The water jet is a nice feature, but if you are looking for a hot-tub type strength, you won't get it. It simply keeps the water moving around, which I believe is nice when you add the salts to the water, preventing them from settling. The pic also shows the jets above the waterline, however, when you actually fill the thing with water to the max fill line, the jets are almost completely submerged. This unit is not incredibly loud, I can still hear the TV or talk on the phone while I'm using it without issues.

I was also mis-lead on the packaging thinking the item actually heated the water. It does not. The material the spa is made out of will instead retain the heat longer than if you were to just use a regular foot bowl or whatever. I always start the water out in the bath so that it is actually steaming.

I got this as a present because it looked fun and luxurious. Unfortunately, it turned out to be neither. Calling this a "massager" is borderline dishonest. The massage element is a small bump only big enough to apply to a small area on one foot at a time. No effort seems to have been made to simulate a human massage; rather, the whole thing vibrates mildly. This is about as much of a massage as resting your foot on the dryer. I'd recommend spending your money elsewhere.

The HoMedic Hydro-Therapy Foot Massager doesn't heat water, doesn't keep hot water warm and the water jet action is WEAK. It doesn't even make a good foot tub as it was not deep enough for the water to cover the top of my feet. You are better off buying a foot tub. Thankfully, I bought this product on sale so I am out less money for something that is not very useful.

A comment for people looking for a good foot bath / foot spa – GIVE UP ON THE HEAT OPTION!

I apologize in advance if this reads as spam - I have been looking for a good Foot Bath / Foot Spa for less than $70 for six months now. I have left comments on products that either died after a few uses or were completely unacceptable - my bottom line is “Is this product better than a bucket of hot water and Epsom salts?”
All this being said – the one thing I feel ALL reviewers and perspective buyers should know is – You Will Not Find A HEATED Foot Spa/Bath here or ANYWHERE for less than $200+.
The reason I say this so strongly is – the #1 complaint I see here and on other pages is “It does not keep the water hot ; the water turned cold after 15 minutes. Etc..” Do any of you seriously think a $25-$60 plastic bucket that vibrates or bubbles is really going to the have heating elements to raise water temperature to a ‘spa’ level? That my friend is just marketing stuff.

The good news is – if you can find a product that has reliable – motors, buttons, bubble jets, etc – you are good to go – suck it up and refill the hot water every 20 mins or so as needed.

Everything about the item's description is positively, 100% deceitful. First of all, it does NOT heat up. You have to put hot water in it - which cools down in about 5 minutes, even with the "heater" turned on.

The "massage" button does what? It vibrates loudly and frightens house pets. Nothing more. There's nothing pleasurable about it.

It is so shallow you can barely cover your feet and the "emptying" holes in the back just allow water to spill out everywhere while you carry it to wherever you intend to use it.

The knobby gray thing in the center is nothing but a nuisance - blocking you from being able to actually have the space to rest your feet. I assume it's supposed to have some sort of massaging purpose, but, I assure you... it's entirely useless.

The spouts of water are supposedly part of the "filtration & heating" system. Clearly, they exist for aesthetic purposes only. The water is NEVER heated. Whatever temp water you put in, you better expect to become ice cold within minutes because I believe these spouts actually cool it FASTER than if it were totally still!! Kind of like when someone stirs or blows on their soup to cool it down.

Waste. Waste. Waste.
