This is very good looking guitar with finishing equal to a fine instrucment. The intonation is perfect and that was a pleasant surprize. It has a forthright tone, more like a larger guitar. My only reservation is that the size is not clear. I thought it was a half size. It is actually slightly larger and would not fit in my case. I recommend this for mature classical players as an excellent travel guitar.

At the advice of a salesperson at the guitar shop I had originally purchased a 3/4 size with metal strings for my 7 year old who was starting lessons. At the first lesson the instructor asked me to return it and buy this one for 2 reasons. First, nylon strings are easier for a child/beginner as the metal is a bit "sharp" on the fingers. And second, it's better for to go with a guitar that is too small than too large (it's hard to develop good form when you can't hold it correctly). No question these were good calls, he's doing very well with this guitar and I enjoy playing it as well. Overall the sounds and build quality are excellent.

My son plays this guitar, and he makes it sound beautiful. Very nice for the price. I bought this based on other reviews of people that seem to clearly know more about guitars than I do (which is next to nothing) and they did not steer me wrong. Great guitar, reasonable price. Needed some tuning of course but sounds great after that!

We really like this guitar for a student to learn on - right size for small hands, has very good tone and registration, and is nicely finished. I wish it had an end pin, and it would be nice if there was a strap button option, but we can deal with that. We have now purchased 3 of these for different grandchildren. All have been great.

I bought this for my 7 year old nieces birthday. It seems to be a pretty decent little guitar. I played several others at a local guitar store and this was the best of the bunch they had there and not the most expensive. (Many of the $150-200 ones were not as easy to play). The fret action is good (easy) and it has nylon strings which will be easy for a kid to start out with. I tuned it and am keeping it for a few days to make sure it stayed in tune because that can be really frustrating for a child--and can even make it too frustrating to try to play. It has held the tune so far for about 3 days, so I think it's going to be fine. Overall, I am glad I got it for her. My first guitar was a steel string one and it didn't deter me from learning, but I did have sore fingers most of the time! I think she will have fun learning on this one and I would recommend it for the price.

I got this guitar for my daughter to learn with. She loves it, and I have to say that this guitar blows my first 3/4 classical from 30+ years ago out of the water. It's been a blast for me to sit and play as well. For a young beginner, you can't go wrong with this instrument. I got the Cordoba 3/4 Size Deluxe Gig Bag to go with it and it fits nicely.

Got this for granddaughter. She's got the string names down already, and a 3 string C, G, Em. Having fun learning to tune. And likes the gig bag that goes with it.
She had a "toy" model guitar and I offered to trade this one. Tough call, and she tried negotiating to keep them BOTH. Is this a budding guitarist or what!?
The frets are flat and tuning true. Sounds like a real guitar, just smaller.
