PROS:
> Good price
> Light weight
> Takes up almost no extra space in your pocket (e.g., when wrapped around your device).
> Can be used like a watch fob (that is looped through a belt loop, or around a shirt button) to prevent someone from stealing your device, or to protect your device from being dropped.
> Quick Disconnect
> Ribbon may be more comfortable than the round cord which is commonly used
> A good compromise between a wrist scrap and a more bulky neck cord.
> Unlike a metal hook or ring, the "loop" connection will not damage your Ipod, phone, or camera.

CONS:
Short. If you have a normal size head, you can get it around your head to your neck even wearing glasses---but with room little to spare. In my case (a guy with an average neck), the strap hangs to about the middle of my chest. It prevents me from holding my camera more than about 6" from my eyes. I'd have preferred 2-3" more in length. However, to a limited extent, short is good---it reduces the likelihood of your IPod, cellphone etc. swinging and smashing into things, such as a table when you sit down/stand up. No Frills 5-Pack

If you have several thumbdrives and want an easier way to grab them, this is a nice deal. They are straightforward nylon lanyards with quick-disconnect ends. Not the most comfortable of material (some lanyards are much nicer...only reason for 4 stars), but it is cheap, well-made and functional and you can get 5 in a pack versus most others that only sell you one at a time.

Great product for the price. I personally would like them to hang longer, but no deal breaker. Didn't like the smooth ribbon feel of the actual fabric, but no matter, the price and the functionality is exactly what I was looking for. Need to carry my flash drives and cameras, and be able to detach and reattach them quickly.

Great Little Product

I bought these for the teachers in my department to whom I supply flash drives for their stationery, forms, and course information. They were losing the flash drives, then finding them, then losing them again. I got these lanyards and they made all the difference in the world. Everyone was appreciative of the bands and no one has lost their flash drive since I installed the lanyard on them. Such a little thing makes such a big difference! Great quality for the price I paid. I even have some left over for myself!

Excellent Lanyard

I was worried first because of the low price of this product. It's very cheap and usually cheap doesn't mean good quality but after using this lanyard for about 4 months I can say this product exceeds my expectactions. I don't know where it is made but is has a good quality. Highly recommended.

Good Qaulity Product. Don't regret the purchase.

If you are using these to use with a important thumb drive, make sure you really pull on the strap where it's pinched together to make sure it's sound and isn't going to break easily.. And if you have a Thumb Drive that's REALLY IMPORTANT. Do like I do and use 2 of the straps together on the thumb drive at the same time.

That way if one happens to break the odds are two won't.

If you do have a IMPORTANT Thumb drive around your neck all the time it's a good Idea to have a canister of Pepper Spray on you to defend against a possible Bully or Bullies that want to take the Thumb drive for the fun of it.

Cheap and effective

These are great for the price. I use them on flash drives so that I have a harder time losing them. The lanyards have a loop on one end that can thread through a lanyard hole on any device, that also has a quick disconnect. The neck lanyard is not adjustable but the quick disconnect is a great addition because if worn around the neck, the lanyard doesn't need to be taken off in order to use the attached item. For the price, this is really hard to beat.
