Beanitos Black Bean chips contain black beans, rice, sunflower oil, guar bean gum, and sea salt. They are also non-GMO.
An individual bag (as sold here) contains 25% of recommended daily fiber, and the chips are tasty!
Those with a gluten sensitivity will enjoy that they are gluten-free, and the kosher will note that they are kosher and parve.
Since the health food store only has these sometimes, I'm glad to find a consistent source. Thank you, Amazon!

These chips are really good. I expected them to be thick and heavy but they are just the opposite. One of my kids likes to eat them instead of potato chips..plain out of the bag. The other likes to eat them in place of tortilla chips...with salsa or guacamole. With the natural ingredients and high fiber, these are a great replacement to all types of chips.

My husband and I are hooked on these simple chips made of black beans and rice! They taste well seasoned although they really only add sea salt, they have a nice crunchy mild spice to them.

We ordered the 24 bags for $11 and change via Subscribe and Save and feel these were a good value. They didn't last long! Family members who have tried them have agreed and they disappeared fast.

The bags aren't full (what is anymore, right?), I uploaded some photos for you to see, lol... The protein and fiber make them quite filling for a light snack though! Looking forward to trying other flavors next!

These are NonGMO, healthy, and taste better than most junk food chips, ha! Buy with confidence. Smile. Hope this is helpful!

I really liked these. The taste was fairly mild, and the sea salt was noticeable but not overpowering (these have reasonably low sodium, and they have a lot of potassium which is great to counteract the sodium if you are monitoring your blood pressure). The black beans give them a color that reminds me a lot of blue corn chips.

These held up well to dipping in some heavy chili (didn't break in the chili, although some of the chips in the bag were broken when I received it). The texture is interesting; it's not like a corn chip but I actually really like the way they feel when I chew them. (That might be an odd thing to say, but the texture of these really appealed to me.)

I didn't see the nutrition facts on the product page, but one thing I really like about the package is that it gives you nutrition information for both a one-ounce serving and for eating the whole package, which is, perhaps, a more realistic scenario. There's a fair amount of saturated fat in these (7 g or 11 g, depending on how many you eat) but they are also high in fiber (5 g or 8 g) and protein (4 g or 7 g). Minerals (other than potassium) include calcium (2% or 3%) and iron (6% and 9%).

These contain no corn or wheat and are free from preservatives. They're also vegan, kosher, non-GMO, and gluten-free. However, if you have an allergy, please note that the package says "made in a facility that may also use soy, dairy, seeds, wheat, corn and tree nuts."

Next time I am in the market for a tortilla-style chip, I would definitely consider these instead of corn chips.

Full disclosure: I didn't buy 'em from Amazon. They were on sale for a ridiculously low price at the grocery store.

That's it. I've found it. The Holy Grail of diabetic-friendly nibbles. I'm serious! The ONLY negative I can think of is that... well... they're kind of like the crack cocaine of the chip set. I've tried so many brands of veggie/bean/lentil based crunchies and really nothing has even come close.

I do portion them out into the recommended serving size but usually I have to stop at about half that because these little things ease my hunger very quickly. Dip 'em in my famous mango-avocado salsa. Or hummus. Or...well, anything really.

Would absolutely recommend these, and not just for those who need to faithfully monitor their diet.

The chips are just OK to me, not especially tasty alone, but decent with dip. What was most upsetting to me was that I ordered cases of 24 and got only a tiny little bag for each "case" I ordered. I should have known that the price was too low for this to be true, when I ordered for a large group thinking to save some money and have a different taste treat to offer. That didn't happen - I still had to go purchase bulk quantities of chips. Anyway, I had a bad attitude when I tasted them and probably disliked them more than if I had been in a better mood.
