Directions

Cooking instructions:
Microwave cooking instructions:
1. Remove the lid and flavor packet.
2. Pour flavor packet contents into cup.
3. Add room temperature water to fill line inside.
Cup (about 1 1/8" below rim of cup). Stir well.
4. Microwave on high about 2 minutes.
Caution: microwave oven power may vary. If yours heats faster than most, adjust by starting with cooler water or by reducing cooking time or power level. Stop microwave if product is overcooking.
5. Remove from microwave, stir and recover with lid.
6. Let stand covered for 5 minutes or until noodles are tender. Stir again and enjoy.
Boiling water instructions:
Follow instructions above except add boiling water to fill line and do not microwave. Let stand covered for 5 minutes or until noodles are tender.
Stir again and enjoy.
Caution: cup and food may be hot. Please handle with care.

I have tried other Dr. McDougall's products and I wasn't too fond.

I am in love with these noodles.
They smell funny when you microwave them but they're pretty tasty.
The noodles are a different consistency- as to be expected.
With the overflow issue, I add a little less water than at the "fill line."

I would suggest trying them at least once before you take someone's "they really suck" opinion.

Truth be told the flavor is a little bland, but in a lazy moment at home, or for taking to school/work for lunch, this was quite pleasant. Will probably reorder it from time to time. That it's not TOO good means I won't be tempted to use them right up immediately.

I've been buying other soups by the same company but this is my least favorite. Actually, I just canceled my subscription because i could barely eat it. It's too "floury". Didn't taste the chicken flavor. Regret getting this soup but will continue buying the tortilla soup and chicken noodles.

This is another one of my favorites, another Dr McDougall baked noodle soup. It is easy to prepare, add water to the line inside the carton, microwave for 2 minutes. The salt is 40% lower than the regular brands. Also the noodles are baked not fried. This is a natural healthy food, beneficial to patients required to control their fast and sodium intake. I have bought many Dr McDougall types of soups. It is true, though it costs more than the most popular brand, you really save much more by saving your health. Unlike an automobile, which can be repaired, one's life cannot be repaired, but you have the power of choosing health, which extends your life.

Just came here to say that this soup is delicious! I'm not vegan, nor am I a huge soup or ramen fan, HOWEVER: I think this soup tastes juuuuuust right. The noodles are just tender enough, but not soggy. The broth is FULL of flavor! I don't know who wrote these reviews. I did heed the advice of one of the reviewers and filled the water a tad below the fill line. Tastes great. A wonderful, filling lunch - and only 180 calories. I'm thrilled.

This version of chicken-flavored ramen noodles is a very good alternative to those sickly-salty, fat-ladened (fried) noodles commonly sold in plastic-wrapped squares. The noodles have a coarser texture than the other ramens but that's because they are baked, not fried, and I have quickly gotten used to the texture. The seasoning packet contains some vegetables (mostly corn, which I like) and spices, and since I have to watch my sodium intake, I can add as much, or less, as I desire. You won't mistake the broth as having chicken in it but it isn't too bad. Overall, this product is a great choice for those concerned about their fat and sodium intake, and vegans, too.

These are s Me of the best vegan cup of noodles ive had. Theyre super easy to make and they taste really good. When you open the cup and take off the seal theres a little brown pouch/bag inside with the flavor contents, theyre in a powder form. Then the noodles are below that and they come in like a block shape(theyre all stuck together). Theres a dotted line on the inside so you know up to where to put the water. You fill that up and pour the powder contents and mix it. Then i place it on the microwave for 2 minutes and let it sit for a bit just so that the noodles get softer. I add lemon and some chile valentina. It makes it taste sooo good i totlly recommend it to vegans or non vegans. Adding the Valentina or Tapatio and lemon makes it taste so much better please try it. They taste really good and this is one of my favorite Dr Mc Dougall soups, its a must try.
