Don't be defrauded by this retailer. Product is fine but really should be found at your local auto retailer. You can find it just about anywhere.

This product is excellent!!! However, this is extremely over priced. I found it elsewhere for only $3.79! Not sure how this company can get away with charging this much.

I have been using this product for years and works great in the summer and winter. Just like anything else, its all bout the prep work you do. I suggest cleaning your windshield thoroughly and apply Rain X original. As far as the rating, it is for the product not the seller. I would also suggest checking your local store or Walmart its about $3.00 for the same.

I would like to start off by saying I have been using this product since I've owned my first car in October 2003. This is hands down, the best windshield washer fluid I have ever found. The combination of de-icer, bug wash, and rain-x make this fluid versatile and hard to beat. I have never experienced it clogging up my nozzles or hoses. As for the price, I'm not sure how it happened, but the price is actually for a case of 4 bottles. You may not want to purchase an entire case, especially if your not familiar with the product, but I stand by it and highly recommend it to all.

There are numerous reports of this washer fluid fouling the level sensor probes in some cars that I wish I had read before I used it. I used this a few times in an Audi and after a few of months my "low washer fluid" light came on. I topped off the washer fluid but the low fluid light stayed on. Took the car to the dealer who showed me the washer fluid level sensor that was gunked up with a sticky almost glue like coating over the two pronged probe. He cleaned the probes with some solvent, reinstalled and everything was fine. He told me that he sees this more often now and that the rain x has something in it that effects cars that have this type of conductivity sensor. Said the fluid forms a sticky coating on the probes that prevents them from reading the liquid level. So, a very expensive lesson in washer fluid. He told me to instead use the regular low cost blue fluid and I haven't had a problem since. So use with caution.

I have been getting Rain-X washer fluid locally (at good prices).

I have used Rain-X Washer Fluid for 10+ years. Since I drove a 1997 SAAB and now with my current Gen II Prius. Neither of these seem to have electric washer fluid sensors. It just cleans windshields well. I have been getting Rain-X washer fluid locally (at good prices) all that time .

When it rains the Rain-X film makes it just bead up and roll off the windshield at driving speeds. My wiper blade life also seems longer using Rain-X.

Others here have reported serious issues in their cars with washer fluid sensors. Since my cars have no washer fluid sensor I have not run into these problems. I think it wise (and I'll do this when I get a new car) to see if it has a sensor. It seems wise to check *before* choosing Rain-X washer fluid.

Because Rain-X has worked very well for me I would give it 5 stars, but I'm knocking it down to 4 because If you don't use it cars without washer fluid sensors there is a significant potential for problems.

Hope this was helpful.

So buyer beware, as an active duty service member. I have never had so many issues with a company as I have with ITW Brands (rain-x owner) and SouthWin Ltd (rain-x maker) apparently there is a shelf life about this product that they do not list and can cause damage to you wiper system. Which happened to me. I submitted a claim 6 months ago for a nozzle issue that this product corroded through. I found out today the President of SouthWin (William D) denied the claim personally and wont reimburse the $37 back because of the age of it. Even though no where does it say, after so much time it mess up your system

As a Jeep Wrangler owner, I know all too well the pain of smashed insects on my windshield. This product seemed perfect and was for a short while. Months after I started using it, my windshield washer would not work. I look into it and found many people that used this had sludge build up in the pump and in the lines. Now I have to take everything off the reservoir and clean it out. Not happy.
