The motif on this wellness mat is Amazing, we believe it is much better looking then the plain black one. the feel is the same for both mats. We wish the mat came in the bigger 5x4 size but for the motif it has to be the 3x2 so we bought 2 of them and it works great. the wellness mat makes you want to stand on it. You do squish into them. If you want to try one of these mats before you buy one head to williams and sonoma and they should have them there. then all you have to do is select a color.

Wellness mats website offers color samples to help you choose a color if your undecided.

Overall Wellness Mats are amazing to have in the kitchen. We have them infront of the sink and preperation station. The two places we stand the most. Go get yourself this mat you will find yourself cooking more

This mat is amazing. I wish that all my shoes were this comfortable! I read lots of reviews on Amazon about a variety of kitchen mat products and chose this one. Thank you Amazon and all the reviewers for the information. Boy am I glad I anted up the cash and took the plunge. I am one week into owning this mat and I am thinking about ordering another one for the other side of my kitchen. In addition to being comfortable, the color is nice (I ordered burgundy) and it cleans up in a snap. Both my husband and I have noticed a big difference in how our backs/bodies feel after standing on the mat while prepping food in the kitchen. Our house is on a concrete slab with laminate wood floors. We love to cook but standing for long periods of time on the laminate was starting bother our backs. This has helped a lot. We are now fans!

This is the most comfortable and durable anti-fatigue mat we have ever used! The mat is very high quality and is a rich grey with delicate swirls. It is lovely in our kitchen and does not look at all industrial. More importantly, the mat is so comfortable, we no longer get tired feet when doing the dishes. We plan to add more of your mats to the rest of our project areas, including the garage, the laundry room, the sewing room, etc. We will also get more mats for the kitchen. Why be in pain when you don't have to?

I had back surgery in 1991. Was told by my Physician that prolonged standing is not a good idea. My husband knew I had my eye on these for about a decade. I was reluctant because of the price. I kept putting it off. He made the decision to finally just order one and see!!

Yes, they are expensive. They are made in the U.S.A. and have a 7 year warranty. That is part of what you pay for. It says that it will remain unmatched in comfort,always lie flat,never delaminate,never compress,never wear through. It is beautiful,high quality,and made to last for many many years. It does look nicer in person than in the photo. It has just the perfect amount of cushion and spring to it. Standing in front of my kitchen sink on my hard tile floors is now like standing on a cushiony cloud!(Or what I think it would feel like if I had ever stood on a cloud!!)

You don't have to do much to keep it clean. Care for it the same way you would your floor,except, do not use a vacuum with a brush roller on it as it will damage the finish.

I like it so much I am thinking of ordering one of the longer thinner mats for the area in front of my stove and part of my counter!!

After having waited such a long time to order because of the price I do wish we had ordered one sooner. I am very
pleased. I would recommend this mat to anyone who wants a quality product that will withstand years of use!

Love this mat! It is so comfortable especially as I have plantar fasciitis. This one was for my bathroom. I have another brand of mat similar to this in my kitchen. It is not as dense, but a bit less expensive if you buy it at BedBath&Beyond with a coupon. However, I believe that this brand (Wellness Mats) may a bit better quality; it certainly is deeper and thicker. I plan to get another one to replace the older one in my kitchen. The only negative is that I wish there was a better color selection as this one was for my bathroom and the only compatible color was a deep grey, btw it is dark grey, almost what you would call a 'charcoal grey'. There are plenty of good colors for the kitchen.

I just got mine today so I can't comment on long term usage. It feels wonderful to walk on so I don't think I'll regret the purchase. I'm giving it 4 stars because the color wasn't what I expected. It looks more red in the pictures online, but in reality it's more brown. I hoping for red to match the decor in my kitchen. Now I wish I would have bought tan to match my floors instead of what I thought was red. Besides that, it appears to be high quality and probably deserves all the great reviews it's been getting.

First let me say their burgundy is brown, so I was disappointed in the color. Still matches my kitchen, tho, so I'm keeping it and plan to order another. Purchased this after first buying and returning that other brand made of gel. This is much more firm and supportive. It does shoe the dusty shoe prints, so I have to wipe it at least twice a day instead of once in the evening after dinner dishes. But it's easy clean and attractive. I have a baby gate across my kitchen to prevent pets from entering, but I suspect my cats would love this as a sharpening tool, so proceed with caution or put those little claw covers on your kitties before your very expensive new mat arrives until you see if your particular pet is going to go for it.

Do you think they sent me the wrong color?
