My son received this for Easter and I think that it is a better glove than the price would allow you to believe. Firstly I have never played organized ball and thought all gloves were the same until my wife, who played High School softball, showed me the value of a high end glove. My glove probably cost under $15 and hers was around $100. The Easton here is closer in quality and comfort to hers. It already felt a bit broken in when it got here and flexes really well, which is important for a kid just starting his MLB career. It seems to have decent palm padding. I am looking forward to some quality time in the backyard with the little guy and his new glove, I might just have to order one more in my size.

This glove is perfect for my son and he is loving it. it is easy to close on the ball and now I just hav to continue to work on keeping your eye on the ball so the ball is not on the eye. Having fun teaching my son.

I originally bought the 9" model of this glove for my 4 yo grandson for tee ball, but when I received it, it just really looked WAAY too small. I returned the 9" model and ordered this 10" glove. It still seems a wee bit small, but he can use it now and, for the price, we can get the larger glove maybe next year. Glove seems well made, don't think Easton would put their name on it if it weren't.

Bought this for my 4 year old and had a great time oiling it and beginning the brake in process. It's made out of nice leather and feels like it will last a lot longer then he will need it so I'm sure it will be passed down to his little brother. I like that it is easily squeezed shut as his little hands aren't that strong yet. He loves having a "big boy glove"

Good budget glove, nothing fancy. I was definitely afraid it would be more obviously cheap but it's passable. The look on my son's face when he realized he could squeeze his mitt to hold on to the ball...it hadn't occurred to him yet that mitts aren't supposed to be used like a basket. So yes, a 6-year old can flex this mitt after a light stretching out.

My son has used this all season, he's 7. It broke in fairly easily, and has held up well even though he doesn't take great care of it.

Just got back from Cuba where we gave these youth baseball gloves to young Cuban kids at a baseball field. Needless to say the loved them. Everyone is very poor in Cuba so the availability of baseball equipment is very scarce. The average Cuban earns about $20 USD per month! Because of that a lot of the young people have switched to soccer (football), Fidel is no longer around to support baseball.
