I have roughly 20 2.5" hard drives that I use for my work in computer security testing. Before I got these cases, I kept them in moral mailing envelopes in my desk drawer with a note on the envelope as to the brand/size/etc of each drive. Now, with these cases, I have them in a nice stack with a label for each one. I found that a label printed with a Dymo Turbo Labelwriter 450 sticks to the case but can be readily peeled off when the info changes.

These are fantastic for storing 2.5" hard drives. They're made of thicker plastic than the earlier ones I used to own for 3.5" drives (which were sold by WiebeTech).

Very durable. My only complaint is the tacky StarTech.com logo printed on the front of each unit. However, I can obviously understand why StarTech is so eager to put their name on these.

These are good little 2.5" HDD/SDD cases. Not much to tell about them, they are just poly molded cases. They do have a little flip down on the short end of the case so that you can connect the drive without taking it out of the case. One thing I will mention though, is that they are fitted for 7mm drives, so if you have 5mm drives, you may want to get a bit of foam or something to fill in the extra space so that the drives don't move around in the case. Other than that, they work exactly as they should, and I have no complaints.

These fit the bill just right. Comes with some padding on the inside, and has a slot that can open for quick access though you probably won't use it. In any case I feel more organized, and have a sense of security knowing my 2.5 Laptop drives are in a protective cushioned case.

Great little cases for storing and transporting 2.5 inch hard drives and SSDs. I used to keep my drives in the wrappers they came in but these allow for better strorage and protection especially when transporting drives. I've never had one fail...that can't be said for some of the hard drives I've owned. If you have to store a few or several small drives these are the perfect solution.

Useful for storing 2.5" SSDs. Fit fairly tightly - perhaps a little loose if you're going to be traveling with it. Easily rectified by adding a thin piece of padding inside. Outside is finely textured to ensure good grip. Great for the price!

Add this to the USB 3 hard drive docs, and you can then use Linux Mint 1.6.. or any of the Linuxes you like.. and set up three hard drives. One for storage. One for play. One for the bank and don't use it to get mail. The covers protect very well.
