I sent this product to my son who is currently deployed in Afghanistan. The troops drink only bottled water, so this jazzes up the water a bit. This shipped directly to my son's APO address and he received the package about a week after I ordered. Good deal and my son is happy so I am happy. Five stars for Propel and for Amazon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Propel zero packets

I really like Propel water. I used to keep a couple of bottles in the refrigerator, continuously. These packets take less room and are cheaper than the bottles.
My only problem is with the pre-cut strip at the top of the tube. When I used it the opening is not wide enough for the powder to come through. No problem, I just cut the top off the tube with scissors about a quarter inch below the strip. I needed a heat exhaustion remedy recently. My brother suggested Gatorade G Series Lemon-Lime (76.5 oz/Makes 9 Gallons). I used these instead and bought Now Foods Potassium Gluconate Pure Powder, 1-poundto supplement the Propel Zero, it's a lot cheaper. Propel had everything I needed except for Potassium, problem solved! I use old 2-liter bottles to mix this in. Four tubes per two liters seem to work! One tube per 17 fluid ounces

I highly recommended Propel Zero for anybody looking for a low calorie good tasting drink!

I've been using the powdered Gatorade mix for a while now for post workout and post wild night on the town recovery for a couple years now. I haven't ever been able to find the Low Cal Gatorade in a powdered mix so I started looking elsewhere.

The Propel Zero has been great! I usually mix up a Gallon at a time to I just put 6 packets / gal. One packet is usually for 16.7 oz of water. Going by that there's 128oz in a gallon to get a perfect mixture you would want to use around 7.6 packets / Gallon of water. I haven't had any problem mixing 6 packets / gallon; it's actually a little on the sweet side to me so anything more than 6 packs and it would probably be way to sweet.

Using sex at a time leaves you with 6 gallons of goodness which is actually a good bit cheaper than the gatorade mix and less calories too!

I love these things I stopped drinking pop because I am In Afghanistan and I need all the water I can drink. These propel packets really make it easy to slam down the waters.

I use this in my lunches that I pack everyday. I trust the ingredients and the flavors are quenching. I use empty water bottles to pre mix the Propel and set in refrigerator to chill before I put it into the lunch box with an ice block. I will carry extra with me to a restaurant and do not have to pay 2.00 for one drink, I order water and use my own flavor, it is cheaper on the restaurant bill for me.

I purchased these because I like what I drink to have some flavor, but simultaneously would prefer to watch my sugar intake and avoid overly-sweet drinks due to a health condition. For my usage and taste preferences, these have been great.

I think that it's worth noting off that bat that Propel Zero is a drink of its own breed...these are NOTHING like Gatorade or other sports drinks and they are nothing like the fruit flavors made by other powdered drink makers like Crystal Light. The flavor to Propel Zero is a very mild flavor, with both sweet and sour notes. It's taste is closer to a "flavored water" than it is a "sports drink" in a sense that it is mild, and it does not have that intense sweet that some other powdered drink mixes have. I'm a huge fan of this subtle flavor, but I have noticed that people generally either love or despise this kind of drink. Additionally, the citric acid is noticeable which is another thing I have noticed people either love or hate. So I figured I would note this since Propel Zero isn't exactly inexpensive!!!

These are made with Sucralose as the primary sweetening agent (and citric acid to give it that mildly sour contrast.) Most "diet," "low carb," and/or "sugar free" products still use aspartame as the primary sweetener. While research has indicated that limited aspartame consumption is safe, I still do not buy most aspartame products simply because I hate how it tastes. I find it to have a bitter aftertaste that I dislike, and that the only flavor I can taste is the aspartame itself. Sucralose, on the other hand, I find to have a much more natural taste and prefer it over aspartame. So given Propel is using Sucralose as the main sweetener, this is a product I wanted to try.

This is my go-to rehydration drink after exercise. All 3 flavors are tasty and I love that I can replenish my electrolytes without all the calories of the other brands. This is the only rehydration drink I use.

I love the the Propel packets. However, I paid $12 for a 36-pack variety--33 cents per pouch. I can buy a single flavor 10 pack for $2.78 at Wal-Mart which equates to 28 cents per pouch.
