The only parts that may be steel are the magnets. The rest is painted a metallic silver. They look very cheap. They arrived with some of the metallic paint chipped off. They were obviously returned, which is amazing considering they say no returns due to the "personal nature" of the item. Finally, YOU CAN"T EVEN FEEL THEM WHEN THEY"RE ON and they have been reviewed as the "most powerful" clip/clamp. Ridiculous. Don't waste your money. I only gave it one star because Amazon forces you to.

This product is definately not what is advertised. The look is cool and the case they come in as well but functionality is a bust.

The magnets only works when they are super close. There is no pressure when worn at all. I would not even recommend this for beginners.

In theory I guess it sounds good but definately lacking in follow through.

this clamp is much bigger and heavier than it appears. i found it difficult for the thing to stay in place as the magnets don't seem to keep it securely in place. there is no way to adjust the clamping mechanism as they are only the magnetic pull...which isn't much.

it's cool-looking and is more decorative - other than the weight, i didn't feel any clampy pressure with them on...so, all in all, other than more appearances, there's no point in these "clamps." if you are looking for a more utilitarian clamp, buy something else - I've found alligator clamps or those of that design work much better, and depending on how much you adjust them, don't fall off like these.

BEWARE: the seller i ordered these on has a policy of no returns on "toys" - which is not clearly stated. i called their customer service to inquire about a return (in original packaging and non-use except for fit) and the woman said, "there's no return on toys." Period. Did not offer any more info. When I emailed the company to ask about the return, the response was much nicer, however, they told me that they would only accept the return if the product was damaged in shipping.

sorry, but based on non-usable clamp and pretty poor customer service, i would not order this product or from this seller again.

These clamps fit perfectly onto any nipple. They fit tight and snug. The weight of the clamp does "yank" on the nipple when the person wearing them moves, but not to a point of pain. The only complaint is when left on too long, nipples become sore and the tips purple from lack of blood flow.
