Like it says on the can, this is a pet corrector. We previously purchased a large can, but found that it was more convenient to have another can handy. The key to this product is clearly making sure to use it at the time of the undesired behavior. We have two Dachshunds who bark incessantly when someone's at the door. I should say they used to bark incessantly, because since we started using the Pet Corrector they just don't bark like they used to. We do have to remind them occasionally when the old habit reappears.

We really like this product.

A dog trainer recommended this to help me train my Maltese to stop barking at every leaf that fell. It works like a charm. The noise is harmless but stops him in his tracks. Now, he just has to see the red can to know he can't bark.

With a beagle who is intent on barking at other animals, the deer who feel it is funny to stand at our back fence and stare at him, the groundhogs and rabbits who feel our yard or behind our fence is a good place to live and torture him, who enjoys to hump his bed and well, just likes being a mischievous dog this little can is a godsend. This product has been a valuable tool to us for about the past 2 years and we only wish we found it sooner. We have tried citronella collars (which would slide to the side and then spray into his ear) and the ones set off by barking would be inadvertently set off by noise or other dogs barking. We did have a collar that we used that used a high pitched sound when we pressed a button but we swore we would never do that again because it would go off on its own inadvertently and the poor dog would be running around the house without us knowing why until we figured it out. We refused to use a shock collar. This can makes a sound. It is compressed air. Sometimes all we have to say is "red can" or show him the can and he will stop. I do have to say, there are times it does not work when there is an extremely high impact target. There are two other dogs in the neighborhood that he just does not like. Nothing stops him from barking at those dogs, even the "red can" but we will take 98%. The only time we cannot use it is when other dogs are around because it would maybe scare them and we do not feel that is fair. It is available in two sizes and more economical in the larger size but when we are walking with him the smaller is much easier to slip into our pockets. We have a few around the house available when needed. I did get the box of 12 this time as the price was right. It was out of stock but was pleased that a week later I got an email that is was back in stock and being shipped out. Extremely pleased!

This works! It broke my cat Chuck Norris of a couple of bad habits, you know Chuck Norris! He was everywhere on top of everything! He really hates this noise so he remembers! Just read instructions and do not spray directly at them and keep proper distance away. it doesn’t take much to get the job done

I can't say enough about this product. My dog (Plott Hound) is almost 4 years old and mostly well behaved. Our issues were that he would jump on visitors and barking. This worked in about 4 sprays. Within a week (and maybe only 10 sprays), he was a different dog and we barely use it anymore. If needed, we make the "SHHHHT" noise with our mouths and he stops doing whatever it is that he shouldn't be doing.

We had such great results that my parents bought this for their 2 year old Boston Terrier and they had similar results. Their dog won't react if you make the noise yourself, but he was noticeably better behaved within a week as well.

I've suggested this to at least 5, maybe 10, other people and EVERYONE has had great results.

Just a note that this works better on older dogs, not puppies.

We have puppies and were trying to get them for barking excessively. One spray and it worked, although you can only use it sparingly or your doggies get used to the sound and it then start barking again...
