Purchased these to make our Yamaha DTX 522K Electronic drum kit more adjustable. These are great and very adjustable for all of the Toms on our kit. Plus the height adjustment they add is good for those with variable height drummers like my son and I are.

Used 3 of these to add 8" tom pads to Yamaha DTXtremeIIS kit. They worked perfectly. NOTE these have a very short hex rod, so check measurements carefully....a longer version is available. Sturdy unit, well made and very adjustable.

Be prepared to buy many more of these. The screws strip out and they are not repairable. Unfortunately Yamaha and YESS mounting system have not been improved. I have replaced all three on my kit. If you pay attention and keep the housing screws tight they will last longer but eventually they will fail.

Very sturdy and easily adjustable for use with rubber drum pads such as Yamaha TP-65 if you want to use multi-clamps on individual tripod stands in order to blend pads in with an acoustic kit. Rod does have a limited range of motion, so be sure to coordinate carefully with the particular multi-clamp and pad you are using (ie, the mounting hole on Roland pads such as PD-8 run perpendicular to the face of the pad, while mounting hole for Yamaha TP-65's run parallel with the face of the pad.) Also be sure you are getting the proper pipe and rod lengths for your particular application (Yamaha also offers versions with longer pipes and shorter arms).
