We love Dorset mueslis and have had a few different ones on subscription with Amazon over the last year or two. The Simply Delicious flavor is our favorite, however.

I have enjoyed this style muesli all of my life but have never had one that had such large chunks of nuts in it as the Dorset Simply Delicious. That is my favorite thing about this muesli. The rest of it is great as well - not too sweet, hearty, and just so yummy. My husband has his with milk, I prefer it with Greek yogurt. Either way it is a treat for us, not just breakfast.

A number of years ago while in England, I saw this cereal on the shelf in a local grocery store, thought "that looks OK" and bought a box.

I was blown away. Not only was this the best cereal I had ever tasted, it was made with no additives, no added sugar, nothing artificial. As is all muesli, it's fairly calorie-dense, but you only need to eat a small amount of it in the morning to satisfy and energize your body. Before I left for home, I went back to the English grocery store and bought eight more boxes, packing my luggage full of it. That supply lasted several months.

Every time I returned to England, I bought another supply. Occasionally I would not be able to find the "simply delightful muesli" flavor (in the navy blue box) and would try others. The other flavors are good - but none are as good as this one.

To my delight, a couple of years later I found that Whole Foods in the US carries this cereal, albeit in small quantities. I would drive almost an hour (each way) to visit our closest Whole Foods, cleaning them out of their entire stock when I did. It was expensive, but worth it.

A year or so ago, Whole Foods started carrying the cereal in a box about half the size of the original - but at the original price! I couldn't spend that much money on cereal, so I drifted away from it - until I made my trips to England, when I would stock up. Being manufactured in England, this cereal is far cheaper to buy there than it is in the US, and it is still sold in the large boxes.

So it was with great delight that I saw Amazon now sells this cereal, in bulk and at a reasonable price.Read more ›

All of the Dorset cereals are great but the dark blue box is the best. It is not too sweet and has a ton of nuts along with oats & dried fruits. Hardly any grocery stores carry Dorset anymore so it is great that Amazon still sells it!

Having read other reviews of the Dorset Simply Delicious Muesli I was looking forward to receiving it. I haven't been able to find a muesli that I really like in our local supermarkets. I was disappointed with the Dorset Simply Delicious muesli's taste. It was more like cardboard than cereal and devoid of much taste. I'm sure it's healthy, but I can imagine eating it daily.

Fortunately, I was able to find a muesli I like on Amazon. The Familia Swiss Crunch with Sunflower and Pumpkin seeds is much tastier than the Dorset and has a better texture. Everyone has his/her own taste, so don't let this review keep you from trying the Dorset product. However, do yourself a favor and give the Familia products a taste, as well.

Very delicious muesli cereal, and I've tried many. Lots of fruit and nuts in good proportions. My only problem is that it's a little pricey, but that's understandable given that it's from England. Certainly worth trying to see if this is the muesli for you.

This is my favorite cereal!
This Muesli is packed full of flavor and a variety of healthy grains and plant protein. It is low in sugar, sodium and contains reasonable calories if you measure your serving. I am so disappointed this has not fared well in the grocery stores, but a big "thank you" to Amazon for carrying this product.
