I have been looking online for a good brush roll for years. I was looking for one to hold at least 10 brushes comfortably, be easy to clean, easy to close. I am thrilled with this bdellium tools makeup brush roll. I began putting in the brushes and immediately knew this was exactly what I wanted. I have 17 brushes comfortably in this roll. I am using it for storage at home, and finally I am taking proper care of my brushes. It's great to open the roll and be able to quickly retrieve the correct brush to use. No more searching through the drawer to figure out which brush I want. Traveling with this brush roll will be so efficient. The idea of not having to find something to cram the brushes in and the ease of packing will be so easy. The only part I could not figure out a use for is the 4 pockets. Love, love, love the Velcro strap - so much better than tying!

It's made sturdy enough but the design is poor unless you only want to use it for small (eye shadow) brushes. The stitching is too close together to accommodate regular face brushes. I removed much of the stitching to create wider pockets and added velcro to the side pockets to make them useful. I also had to add velcro to the strap closure as it was way too short. I made it work for me but I would not purchase this again or recommend it - unless you want to modify it like I did.

This brush case folds up compactly but holds a ton of brushes. I use Bare Escentuals makeup and I've got a zillion brushes with long handles. This holds all of them with room to spare and because it rolls up compactly, it'll be a breeze to take the whole thing when I go on vacation.

I love that the case is long enough to hold tall brushes, not just the ones with 3" handles.

This roll is nearly perfect for me...At 6 3/4" the height of this "Travel Line" version fits everything I needed it to without squishing my brush heads or being too long for where I store it; if you have longer brushes you might want the 9" version (Studio Line). It's nicely made, sturdy with strong stitching & the fabric is durable. I don't have a lot of brushes so I also had room for my tweezers & a small scissors (with plastic tip protector to keep from damaging the roll). The 4 corner pockets are VERY small but might be nice to store a couple tissues. Originally, I put a foam makeup wedge in one & a silica packet in another to absorb moisture that could cause makeup still on the brushes to cake. Eventually, I removed the stitching between them to make 2 larger pockets instead... much more practical for me. Brush pouches are layered on top of each other with the openings of shorter ones in front starting down 3/4" below the back pouch openings. With the back pouch filled, the front pouch becomes unusable for any fat handles but can easily store skinny-handled items, with the crowded space helping to make a tighter more secure fit so they won't fall out. To hold my double-ended brushes, I glued strips of Velcro inside the wrap & onto the brush handles! [Updated this review 6 14 2015]

This is a very nicely made brush roll. The material does not have the cheap vinyl feel/smell so often found in brush rolls. The feel is high quality and the strap that surrounds the case encircles it twice before velcroing so it holds it securely. This is a nice way to keep brushes organized and in good condition.

I mistakenly ordered this travel sized one and was initially disappointed my brushes didn't fit until I learned my error and ordered the standard size one. Just to save others from the same mistake, be sure the length of your brushes is ok for this size, otherwise, the professional size is just as nice...only longer. Very happy with bdellium products and would recommend.

The salesperson/make up person at Sephora inspired me with her impressive collection of brushes in a handy rollup case. I couldn't find the same at Sephora so I decided to search my ever faithful Amazon & low and behold I found exactly what I was looking for. This bedellium case is the perfect size and fits my range of brushes quite nicely (fits 15 brushes comfortably). I haven't figured out what I'll use the little pouches on the sides for yet but I'm sure they'll come in handy as well. Added bonus of form + function: the leatherette is very soft to the touch, making it easy to roll, and I like the army green color on the inside. Very happy with my purchase! (Oh, I noticed there was a "travel line" version as well - but I opted for this "studio line" version as it was just a bit bigger but seemed a more functional size. I find it'll still be perfectly useful to travel with)

I ordered this, not expecting a whole lot. But I did expect my brushes to actually fit! My brushes aren't very long, but they didn't fit under the flap by a long shot. Other than that, it's ok, it doesn't look too cheap but doesn't look like I paid much for it. The aesthetic of it isn't all that great, but it least it's not ugly. Overall: if you only have short eyeshadow brushes and don't care about how it looks, you'll be happy with it.

I am a make brush entheasuist and have many and that is why I ordered this case. The picture in my opinion is misleading in the size. I don't own a brush as short as this holder will allow so I will use if for pencils. Other than that the product is ok and it isn't worth the money to return. Would not buy again.
