Does the job!

I generally love the Levo book/ipad stand. It's great being able to read books while working at computer, and view ipad in bed. My only complaint: using books in the book-hiolder attachment, the pole leans a little, as the weight of even a medium-sized book is too great to be counterbalanced by lead weight in base. I hope over time this leaning doesn't weaken the connection area of pole to base to the point of breaking.
But in general, the holder is pretty well built, and does the job. Just don't expect to put really heavy books on it.

LEVO Book Platform used with Assistive Technology Device

For our engineering senior design project, my group created an assistive technology device for a young girl with brittle bones disease, which allows her to interface with reading and writing instruments as well as control her bedroom environment. We incorporated the LEVO Book Platform into our device and it is extremely helpful. The platform securely suspends a book within reach of our client and is very adjustable, and allows her to easily turn pages, which is otherwise very difficult to do while holding a book. We would absolutely recommend the LEVO Book Holder to anyone looking for assistive technology, or anyone that would like to make reading more comfortable and convenient.

Love the stand, the book attachment is good if a tiny bit confusing to use at first. If you need this type of stand, I would recommend this system. Be aware that it will not do well holding a lot of weight, like a large textbook, but is fine for most .
