You should know that under the skirt are shorts. Also the waist band sits right below the waist, not at belly button.
The color is deep and the fabric is thick.

I bought this to go with the wonderful matching tankini top. I should have bought one size smaller. And I am just not real crazy about the boy cut sort of shorts as the panty part as they do not offer as much support (lack of a better word) but the fabric (like the tankini top) is great and the way it falls is attractive, length is perfect. (I am 5' 2) and a flattering style. What is truly wonderful about the whole suit is the fabric does not sag or loose it's shape when wet. High quality swim suit.

It's a cute nicely fitting swim skirt. It sits high enough to cover tummy flab and covers my rear. The skirt has a flap in front but no one would know, it kinda floats up in the water but it's not bad and I am happy with it all around.

Quality of fabric seemed great so I was disappointed when I tried it on only to find it was tight. The waist and leg openings were uncomfortable. I am 5'6" -132 lbs and this size 10 should not have been too small. Really disappointed.
