My four grand kids religiously sit down to a table full of play-dough first thing every weekend morning. For years I've been content to serve as distributor of colors (one color at a time per child) and roller to flatten out the dough for cutting. Until we got the metallic ones.

Must be the sparkles in them but now I pull up a chair and roll out my own sheet to play with (darned those kids who need my help). I think they need to make even more sparkly options to remind more adults of what caught our attention as kids.

We have the Transformers playdoh set (I spell this as 'playdough' but had to adjust to the mass-marketed version of the word over time, sorry lol) so I was hoping when I purchased this that there would be plenty of metallic colors but it was mostly neon colors. Only 3 of them were metal colored. Disappointed because I have plenty of playdoh in bright colors here at home already.

Everything met my expectations. The colors were great and the play doh very moist. It would have been nice to know the metallic was glittery and therefore leaves glitter on hands and surfaces.

My daughter is attracted to all things sparkly and this playdoh didn't disappoint. The metallic colors are, of course, sparkly but so are some of the other colors, which delighted her!
