The wind shielding works well. I had to return an XL that was loose around the waist for a L. The sizing chart on the packaging states:

S: 28-30
M: 32-34

If you have ever run, even for a little, with your hand down the front of your pants for fear of frostbite, you need these. Say goodbye to unwanted glares from people picking up their morning paper or loading their kids into the car for school as you run by trying to warm yourself up. They do the job you need them to do at the right price. Buy a couple, but buy L if you typically wear XL underwear.

I'm a size 33 and the small fits perfectly. These are excellent for running in the cold Canadian winter this year. Everything stays warm up front, but the rest stays pretty chilly. Hope that helps. Excellent product for the price and shipping to Canada. Great service through Amazon, as usual.

I live in a cold climate area, but prefer running outside. In the past, the wind was by far the worst part of the experience. I had tried various things like wearing multiple pairs of underwear and leggings, but it really didn't do the trick. I decided to give these a try and have been very happy with them.

When you first open them, they feel very thin and it made me doubt how well they would work, but they do a surprisingly good job of blocking the wind. Highly recommended for cold weather running.

I'm one of those people in the midwest that run year round, regardless of snow and cold weather.

I took up running in shorts only in the winter even when it was below freezing or 0 Degrees. I was looking for something affordable and that wouldn't break the bank to block out wind during those howling days. These fit the bill perfectly! I had a few runs without them, thinking it was warm enough, and regretted it immensely.

I will purchase these again and I definitely refer people to these if they are looking for this solution.

I bought these after wanting another pair of wind proof boxer briefs for running. The cost drove me to them, and I'm glad I bought them!

My other pairs cost almost twice as much, and I personally feel these work just as well. They fit me fine (seem true to size), and provide enough warmth and support that I'm looking for.

So far I haven't noticed any bad seams to cause chaffing, but I don't know if I have gone more than 6-8 miles in them yet. (A pair I have from another brand has trouble spots for long runs)

I'd buy another pair, and likely will.

As advertised, these keep my most sensitive parts protected from the wind. Thank God. If you run in cold, windy weather, I highly recommend buying a pair of these before you know why you need them. Ouch ouch OUCH.

The windproof panel on these is a little on the small side; on very windy days, you can get breezes in around the side, and I'm tempted to combine these with The Sock on the worst days. They'd probably also be helped by a decent pair of compression shorts over them, since they are very short themselves and don't give much thigh coverage. That said, the panel cuts out probably 95% of the wind, which is a HUGE improvement. With these on, I do not (nearly literally) freeze my bits off.

As noted by other reviewers, the sizing on these runs fairly large; I haven't work a small *anything* for 20 years -- I'm solidly medium -- but a small in these fit me just dandy.

Seriously an amazing product. I run year round in New England and bought these on a whim after a running buddy told me about his Gore underwear. Shocked by the price of Gore, I went on Amazon and found these at a fraction of the price. I have worn these around 30x and their quality has stood up. You certainly will not win any fashion shows with these, but they do exactly what they need to do.

These are my go-to anytime the temperature is below 20F and the wind is over 10mph.
