Panasonic battery charger is generic but works great

These simple, low-priced generic battery chargers from China all are of a similar design and are a good value if they work properly out of the box. Each model you order has a sliding top-plate to match the battery of your choice. The failure rate is about 5% in my experience. Between shipping damage (dropped by the Postal Service) and the questionable factory quality control, you might get a dud (or an electrical fire) from time to time. I doubt Underwriter's Labs (UL) has actually approved these, so keep a wary eye during the charging process. So far, so good. If you like to save money and won't be bothered by the occasional one that doesn't work, this is a smart way to get a backup camera battery charger that also works in your car.

it works with my non-chipped 1200mAh battery for GF2. No complaints.

It is very light and has 12v connector. With extra battery, this handy light charger will benefit greatly. dirt cheap too..
