Shorting out at RCA jack. Was not assembled correctly. They use hot glue on the connections so no able to fix them without replacing the jacks. What is going on with Monoprice quality??? This is the third product in a row that has failed. I have used Monoprice products for years doing audio and video installations with no problems. The quality has gone from great to useless. Three strikes, never again will I buy Monoprice crap.

Solid cable for the price! However, the cables smell like they were dunked in gasoline. Not sure if this is due to them sitting in a warehouse or some other issue, but I'm currently letting them air out.

I have been using them with Tannoy Reveal 6" Passive monitors and so far the tonality and definition of the cables is flawless in comparison with themselves. I have used no other mono cables to compare them too, but a vast and dramatic improvement from the cd player stereo wite (1/8th to stereo rca) that I was using before.

Wonderful cables. I always get premium products from Monoprice, with out a premium price.

I needed to go from Avid Eleven Rack (used as an interface) to small Alesis powered monitors. The issue is that the eleven rack uses XLR out for mains and the small monitors use RCA in for inputs.
These cables are heavy and appear to be solid. They work perfectly. My intent is to move these around for remote location recording. I will report back as to how durable they are when travel is involved
