First and foremost: I'm a college student so I'm reviewing this as an adult.

I bought two of these as an inside joke with my girlfriend, and later that night we took them to a birthday dinner for one of her friends. The guns turned out to be a hit and everyone kept passing them around and shooting marshmallows at each other. It made the night more memorable, and gave everyone a good time they didn't expect to have. So if you're looking for a random way to liven things up with a group of people, this is a great idea.

The marshmallows tend to stick inside the barrel if the day is too hot, so make sure to use in a cool and dry place.

I bought this thinking my dogs would chase the marshmallows. They don't... they get frightened of the gun, I guess. You have to mash the marshmallow into the tube to get it to fire, and only the largest of the mini-marshmallows work. But they work well.

It's exactly what it was meant to be. A mini marshmallow gun. Pump it up a few times, and shoot a harmless marshmallow. You will not put anyone's eye out with this. It shoots about 6 feet, depending on the arc at which you shoot it from.

My daughter and niece and nephew were so excited to get this for Christmas from their grandmother. Unfortunately it did not work at all. My daughter was very upset that she could not play. My niece and nephew got the bow and arrow marshmallow shooter and it worked much better.

I got three of these for my kids for Christmas. They excitedly loaded a mini marshmallow and pumped and shot the marshmallow across the room. Then they loaded a second and pumped and shot and the marshmallow stuck in the gun. And we dug it out and tried again and did this dozens of times and they never worked again. One shot was all we got. Very disappointed.

If I could do zero stars, I would. These were purchased for a fun "hunt" with my husband. One wouldn't pump up or shoot at all and the other would pump up but not shoot. What a total waste! Not to mention we now have a whole bag of mini marshmallows that will go to waste as well.

Wow, these poppers are cool! They shoot one little marshmallow at a time, but boy does it fly a distance. We will be buying more for stocking stuffers this holiday. This one is really easy to load and even younger kids and grand parents can do it. Very cute!

The classic popper gun did not meet my expectations. Three were purchased for grandchildren and none of the three would shoot the marshmallows anywhere near the distance indicated on the packaging. The marshmallow would only shoot out a foot (12inches) at best no matter how much pumping was done. This was a rip off and I am surprised Amazon would even offer this product,
