I love these measuring spoons! I already had the corresponding Kitchen Aid measuring cups in this gorgeous aqua/turquoise color and was having the hardest time tracking down the spoons. So glad I found them! What I like best about them, aside from the color, is that the measurements don't fade easily or wear away.

I had a different set of measuring spoons in a darker shade from another brand and after the washes it's been through, the measurement, which seemed to have been painted on, faded away. That made it a little bit challenging to use them. However, I knew I wouldn't have that problem with the kitchen aid brand so I didn't hesitate to get these when I saw them. Added bonus, the little rubber grip on the spoons makes it easier to hold them steady when you've got them full of liquids, like vanilla extract.

THIS SET OF MEASURING SPOONS IS MADE OF EXTREMELY THICK PLASTIC & QUITE HEAVY DUTY. YOU SHOULD NEVER NEED TO REPLACE THEM. THEY ARE DISHWASHER SAFE & THE COLOR IS TRUE TO THE PICTURE. I PURCHASED OTHER PIECES TO MATCH AS I LIKED THEM SO WELL.

I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS BRAND.

Kitchen Aid has a good name and stands for quality. I have many Kitchen Aid products, and will continue to purchase this brand.

These kitchen aid measuring spoons are quite nice. Black is not a color I would usually purchase, but the color does separate these measuring spoons from others. This is my second set. I do not like the connecting ring, and I always remove it. I put my measuring spoons and my small wisks in a cup I keep on my counter for easy access. I find this is helpful to me. I do not need to look through my kitchen drawer for my measuring spoons, they are readily available. It is helpful to have two sets, I do not have to stop and clean the spoons when I am baking multiple products, and at this time of year, that occurs frequently. These spoons have a squared off bottom, so you can rest the spoon without it tumbling over. A great positive when you have placed something in it and need to set it down. These measuring spoons are easy to clean, machine or hand washable.

I gave these spoons four stars because of the ring holding them together and the black color.

I love that there are 5 spoon sizes, so many sets seem to only have four. These are a great shape and made of a sturdy plastic, easy to use and clean. I like the ring for hanging them on a hook.

The only drawback, as I posted in my other reviews, is that the indigo blue is much closer to purple than I expected. Other than that, another great KA product.

This is a nice set of measuring spoons. The plastic is thick and sturdy. Rubber insets on the handles add comfort and grip, which is nice when your hands are oily when cooking. The holder ring lets you easily remove a single spoon to use. Spoon bottoms are flattened so they don't roll when you put them down.

I wish the printed labels on the spoons were bigger for people with poor eyes, and also etched instead of just printed (which would potentially wear off with use). Also, this set lacks a 2 tablespoon measure, which is becoming common on other sets and is a useful measuring spoon.

They are OK, and we like the color. We had a set of red but one of the spoons went missing (hazard of letting a 1 year old help you cook). We never had an issue with any of the red ones which we got several years ago but the latest set didn't seem to be as high of quality as what we purchased before. Having a 1/4 teaspoon spoon that is deformed kind of defeats the purpose of using a measuring spoon.

A good set of measuring spoons is essential for the kitchen though they come in handy in other contexts too. I have several sets, and I was eager to try these as KitchenAid is a solid name in kitchen appliances and some household items as well. I will confess to being somewhat disappointed in this set. Aside from being short-handled, they have a terrible odor right out of the box that bothers me a lot.

This is a set of 5 measuring spoons – 1/4 teaspoon, 1/2 teaspoon, 1 teaspoon, 1/2 tablespoon and 1 tablespoon. Of these four of them are what I would call essential. The 1/2 tablespoon seems like an odd measure that have, especially in a small set. I have used other sets that come with a spoon of that size, but that set had seven spoons total and instead that particular measure was labeled as 1-1/2 teaspoon.

These seem to be made of hard, solid plastic and though they do bend a little they are mostly inflexible. You can use these to scoop things like shortening or peanut butter without concern of them snapping or breaking.

I have two issues with these. First, the handles are short. This is relative and this really is a minor quibble that comes down to personal preference. I would have liked to see longer handles on these spoons. The bigger issue with these is that they have a very distinctive and unpleasant smell. I noticed it when I opened the package and it still is on these after sitting on my desk for a couple of weeks. This is a much more serious problem and is the main reason I have issues with these spoons.

As a set of measuring spoons, this is a decent set. They seem to be of the right volume and they are made well. Unfortunately, these have a very unpleasant smell that will make me think twice before using them if I have any other set of spoons available to me.
