This is simply the best headset out there for the PS3, especially if you want to be able to hear all the 12 year olds screaming at you. The quality of racist comments, swears, and generally incomprehensible babble that you can hear through this is unprecedented. And you can even YELL BACK.

But seriously, there is no compromise, this is the best earpiece I have used while playing games like COD. Would def recommend it to anyone who does not want a bulky headset with headphones. I combine this with my 5.1 system and it is truly wonderful, and really lets you get immersed.

I saw this on Cyber Monday for $15 and figured it was a steal. I currently have the older version of this headset and have nothing but great things to say about it

First thing I noticed was how much smaller this was compared to the older one. I figured it was a good thing.. until I tried it on. I'm so used to just sort of "hooking" the other headset over my ear and I'm good to go. Not with this one. First, you have to snap this very flimsy piece of thin plastic (the ear clip thing) on. It feels like with one wrong move and it will snap. Then to actually get it on.. It takes quite a bit of effort to get the clip completely through the top of your ear. Once you've got all that sorted out, the actual piece that goes into your earhole is huge. I'd like to think that I have normal sized earholes, but this thing made it seem like it was made for giants. So the ear piece just sits right outside your earhole, constantly falling out and generally feeling very awkward. Anyway, if you can deal with that or have humungous earholes and this sounds like a good time for you.. cool. Personally, I knew I'd ship these back for a refund within the first 2 minutes of using this thing.

Then, the actual performance of the headset. Friends asked if I was using a new headset as SOON as they heard me. They could barely hear me and I went through all the settings to try and raise the output volume on this. No dice. Apparently, these bluetooth sets are made "specifically" for the PS3 and you are not able to change the mic level on them. I never knew this, because the mic level was perfect on my old set, but on this one? Wayyyyy too low. You can go into your settings on the PS3 and actually hear yourself and the volume on them.Read more ›

At first it bothers your ear a lot because its loose but then you get use to it. This is my second ps bluetooth I bought because my first one broke. This one looks like it will be in use for a long time. Great design though.

I've purchased this exact product in the past, but I lost it during a move. This is perfect for a gamer who likes to interact and talk with their opponent or other players on the PS3. I imagine it could work with your cell phone or other gaming device that has the ability to sync with a Bluetooth headphone, but have not personally tried it. It has a cool Cami design on the front, and the inside and hook that goes over ear is black. It us a volume control button on the side of it, a power button on top, and the main gray button in front. To turn off or on, you just hold the power button a few seconds until the gray button in front lights up. The front button will have a steady red glow when on the charger (included with product). It will flash blue when the mic is on, and it will flash purple when the mic is muted. When it is on the charger, you can still use it!!! It will have a red glow and flash blue to note that the mic is on---this creates a speaker effect and you will hear opponent on the tv stereo, and speak from your chair/couch and the mic will pick up your speech. Overall a great headset for the price. Would recommend to others.

I purchased this, because I play call of duty zombie games which last a few hours, and my old Bluetooth just wasn't cutting it, it would die after about 1 hour and 30 minutes, so I purchased this one , and I love it because battery last a very long time, and it has a mute button, and my friends said my voice sounds clearer through it, great purchase at this price!

This product works well, and is an excellent value. For those that say that it doesn't work well for phones, you have to disconnect it from the PS3 FIRST and THEN connect it to the phone's bluetooth system. In any case, you may as well buy it - you most likely won't find a better deal anywhere else.

I wouldn't say that this is an awesome headset. I bought it with very high expectations after reading all the reviews here. Looks-wise, it's very nice. I like that it comes with a neat little stand that it can charge on. But that's about it. While people say my voice is clear, it is also very quiet. This headset is limited to mic level '3' and cannot be changed to a higher setting. So people can barely hear me. As for comfort, it does hurt my ear sometimes. The part that goes in your ear is very hard plastic, and it gets achey after not very long at all sometimes (not every time - I suspect it has to do with how it's positioned). The part that goes around your ear to hold it on is also just hard plastic, and is very thin and looks like it'll break easily. I gave this 3 stars because "it'll do" for now. It works, I just have to speak very loudly and make sure it's positioned perfectly if I want to use it for more than 15 minutes. I bought the urban camo coloured one since it's $25 instead of $50 for the plain black (not sure why there's such a huge difference in price!), so I suppose for the price it's not awful. But I will be on the look out for a new one pretty soon, I think.
