my son uses these with his sets that he uses with his insulin pumps. They're the same size as a standard size alcohol wipe (roughly 2 inches by 1 inch, folded in half).

The best way to use them (in our experience) is to apply and let air dry for about 15-30 seconds, depending on your environment. You'll feel the sticky layer on your skin. Make sure your set is ready to be inserted and insert as soon as you feel that stickiness. Don't wait too long as the stickiness will disappear and the adhesion won't be as good.

My son takes long showers every day (yeah, he's a teenager!) and has great results with Smith & Nephew IV Preps. His sets stay on and don't curl up on the edges. Last summer we traveled to China where it was quite humid and he had no issues either with sets not adhering, thanks to the use of this Prep. One vacation I forgot to pack the Smith & Nephew IV Preps and we had issues with his sets not staying on nearly as well in hot, humid weather, so now I always make sure I take plenty.

Some pumpers do go in water with their pumps on. He used to, but doesn't anymore. We found that these IV preps did work okay in water, but for a set to fully stay put, a tape such as Tegaderm was needed. However, he's not in the water that often so it's usually not an issue.

This is a must for people who wear insulin pumps. I had difficulty keeping my pumps adhesive sticking to my skin. Thank goodness for this wonder product. Now I can wear my pump without worry of it falling off.

I wear an insulin pump that adheres to my skin. I've been getting my supplies (including IV Prep wipes) at the medical supply store. My insurance doesn't cover the wipes. These are the same product for half the price. I wish I would have thought of checking Amazon sooner.

Got these for my husband who is a T1 diabetic and I thought it would help with his infusion sites staying in a little longer. He isn't totally in love with them but will occasionally use them if it's hot outside and wants a better seal. Otherwise they just stick it on a little heavier which my husband says make it more like ripping off a bandaid and hurts a little more than usual.

These work as intended and work well. Note: there is an amount of adhesive in these, as there are not 'just' alcohol wipes. There designed to have some type of device attached like an IV where there will be tape likely to the hand (in a hand-located IV access point). I use these for my insulin pump, which has an attached to body device with a sub-cutaneous catheter supplying insulin. It attaches well on the lower-torso, around one's mid-section -- say, about the level of the umbilicus. I am very pleased the added adhesive assists the device attachment.

Still much better than isopropyl wipes for insulin infusion sets, but I now prefer their Skin Prep wipes to these... Had a hard time figuring out what the actual difference was, but subjectively these dry faster, and seem to not sting as much if I happen not to wait.
Pro tip; just cover a large area, then test for tacky dryness with your finger ;-)

My insurance isn't covering these anymore for my insulin pump supplies. I was so glad to find them here on Amazon! Not bad in price and super quick shipping! It gives me the extra piece of mind that my insulin pump set is really "stuck" on me!

These wipes really help my inset stay in place for the 2-3 days they are supposed to be in. When I first got my pump I had 2 of these wipes a nurse gave me but when I ran out I didn't have anymore on hand and for that week none of my insets stuck to my skin well and all eventually came out sooner than should have. These are great at making sure the inset is secured to the skin. I use the wipe and let it air dry on my skin for a few seconds before insertion and they work great.
