This mic paired with a balanced mic cable gives a very good sound for the amateur karaoke singer! I purchased several different mics and this is the best for the price. AKG also makes a duo set...2 mics with one receiver (US45AC)- which can be used with the US45B with no interference (they are different frequencies). If you have 3 inputs in your device, I would buy them separately. I used the A/C with a Y- mic cord along with the B mic and the B mic's sound was much fuller. However, if you only have 2 mic inputs, then it will be just fine.

Note:this is the B mic that can be used along with the duo set.

This is a seriously awesome wireless mic for the money. It has a great frequency range that doesn't chop the top end like many low end mics do.
I have used two of these for several years now and they work perfectly. I bought a 3rd because after spending nearly $400 "higher end " wireless system , I was disappointed to find it faulted in the same places this little unit does. The one thing I love is the battery life on one single double A , It's seriously like 30 hours on a bad day.It like any wireless unit has a limit on range, but it is equally as good as some top shelf products.

The item is easy to set up, since there are few things to configure. The battery door is a little bit tricky, so you need to be careful to put it back without breaking it.

The microphone has a good weight, so it is not too heavy, also not feeling cheap. The volume control is a good feature. Range is good in a typical house.

One downside is it should have come with a cable with 1/4" connectors to the receiver or Karaoke. The cable is not missing, but simply not included. I ended up buying it separately.

In one setting, I also got the feedback, and had to fine tune the volume to get rid of it.

One of our users complained that the sound is not as full as a wired microphone. I just need to trust the user, though I couldn't tell the difference.

The price is quite fair, I do not say anything about sound quality and signal reception, but the isolation could be better. The item is not solid enough. Plastic cover can be damaged easily. The battery cover is very fragile.

This works very well, the only issue I had was is that I ordered a bunch of these units and when I receive them I realized that they were all the same frequency. If you look on Amazon carefully you'll see that these things are sold in a couple different frequencies. Look at the item title to see the frequency. Even so that is still limited to only a couple of frequencies.

This thing has issues like the fact that it sounds just okay and that it's sensitive to tapping the handle, but you can't beat the price. I use this one along with the AKG WMS40 Mini2 that has the two other frequencies for this series while doing karaoke at my bar. I notice that these microphones sound way better than comparable microphones, and they look better.
