The jar fit my Oster Beehive blender fine and the lid fits well on the jar. If you broke your jar by dropping it, check the plastic base carefully. I thought I could reuse the base, but it had a fine crack, so you may need to order one as well, or, order a jar with the base.

The glass jar itself isn't bad. It seems well made and is a perfect fit for my blender. But there are plusses and minuses compared to what it replaced. I previously had an Oster 025843-000-000 Blender Glass Jar (Square Top) that broke. If you do go for the square one, make sure to get the genuine one mentioned, not the afermarket "fits Oster" ones. Although that jar is highly rated (five stars across the board when I wrote this), broke under abusive circumstances, and was well made, I figured I'd save a little bit by buying a slightly larger six cup round jar. This one's cheaper, but primarily due to shipping, supply and demand, and the fact that owners typically look for exact replacement. And if you consider that a lid is included, it's a good deal for the price.

This is round, with four internal vertical ribs. They keep contents from merely spinning around, and facilitate actual mixing. The lid is a thin solid plastic, as opposed to the softer plastic/ synthetic rubber type lid on my old one. But despite that, it's not bad considering the overall price. It has no internal gasket, so it's fine when it comes to keeping contents from escaping the top. But it's less suitable for storage and shaking it would cause a spill.

The squared one had measurement markings on all sides. It alternated between cups and liters. So no matter which direction you held the handle, it was easy to see the markings. This had plenty of room for both sets of markings on each side, but they chose to let you see markings in liters if you hold the handle with your left hand, and in cups if you hold it with your right hand.Read more ›

My mom dropped this part and broke it. This fits Oster BVCB07-Z model. Just wish it cost less, however it is a better buy than buying from Osters website at regular price for $16.99. I have a Oster model 6843 12-speed all metal drive blender. Worked great until the glass pitcher was accidently dropped on tile and broke. Glad to find a replacement for the pitcher without having to buy a whole new blender. This replacement part only comes with the Glass pitcher, lid and filler cap.

You need the blade,gasket and the base to have a working blender. We simply removed those pieces from our broken one and saved them until the new glass pitcher came. If you are missing those parts they are available seperately as well.

My only complaint is that amazon didnt pkg it very well and luckily mine did not come damaged. the glass pitcher came to us in the manuf. pkg which is simply a thin store shelve box with a cardboard insert to keep the pitcher from moving around and then amazon boxed it in a slightly larger box (less than 1 inch of space on each side of the manuf. box) with one of those bubble wrap air pillows but it left 3 entire sides of the box unprotected. Honestly suprised it wasnt damaged in shipping.
