There are an insane number options when it comes to iPad cases. My search took me across two big box retailers, number of "Best iPad case" lists on the Internet and finally ended up here at Amazon.com.

The selection at big box retailer giant was awful. All of them priced from $30 to $100+. Most of the cases for new iPads have the clasp mechanism to hold the iPad in place. I needed something that helped keep the iPad enclosed from all sides and and yet flip the cover to close it like a book. [Rant: Why do some folio cases offer a paper notepad attached. Its so useless!!!]

My iPad (Retina Display) model effortlessly slid into the case. The front/back camera, connectivity port and headphone port were all accessible easily. The cover had a rich & soft leather feel. The hook at the back of the case and be used to keep the case upright for watching a video. The magnetic flip cover switches the iPad on and off ... a feature of higher priced cases. Its a bargain price for the value it offers.

I was happy with the product and the delivery times. However, the product did have a slight bubble on the back where the material obviously separated from the adhesive. Not enough to return, but as I have the identical product on another iPad, you notice the difference.

I really find this item useful both for protecting my ipad and also repositioning it various ways to make it easier to read/type on. I also think the price is reasonable, and it seems well-made. Definitely recommended!

I bought this for my iPad. I had a Dodocase, which I also love, on a 2nd iPad. This is a bargain case, and it's wearing very well. I have no issues with the iPad moving around, and it has withstood travel and kid-handling.

The case is great. Fits great, and it's slimline. Very well made and the price can't be beat. It fits the iPad3 perfectly.

(FYI, I thought that I had bought the iPad4, but it turns out that it was the iPad3 with 4G. Apple is pretty sneaky about its models. The version of the iPad is not written anywhere on the box or on the iPad itself. Very misleading on Apple's part, if you ask me.)

So this fits the iPad3 as well as the iPad4.
