This mop is an oldie but a goody. My Great Grandmother had the same exact dust mop back in the 70's. She had many heads to the mop handle. One for the floors, one for the ceilings an one for the bathroom. Her house was always so clean and I never seen her work hard and here I run around constantly cleaning.

I know her secret now! It was this dust mop and Fuller Brush dust spray.

I have over 2500 sq ft of hard wood and it is a dark color at that so I am at battle with these floors hourly. On a normal day I spend at least an hour dust mopping my floors. Since getting this dust mop it has cut my time in half. I don't have to go back and forth over the same spot a bunch of times and it traps most of the dust and dirt so less to sweep up in the dust pan. I went over them real fast this evening after everyone had quit moving about so much. I am sitting here 6 hours later and it doesn't seem like much dust, lint, dirt has scattered. Usually by now I already can't wait to get up and go at the floors.

This is showing me that this is getting everything out of my house instead of pushing it around from one corner to another.

I like this dust mop. I still wish it held onto the dust better, I'm even using the spray they suggested. That being said, I feel it is better than a "swiffer" type mop. I also like that I can hand wash it. It does take a while to air dry so make sure you get 2 mop heads.

I looked and looked for an efficient cotton dry mop opposed to the other fabrics. I must say, the cotton fibers make additional messes on top of the dirt. The problem is that after dry mopping,
I go outside to shake it off and it is a never ending task. I don't like that you can't wash and dry it in the washer, it is all done by hand...what a mess. I am very disappointed.
I am now on the look out for a good product.
