These 1500 count pillowcases are of the quality one would expect. Beautiful, thick and oversized as advertised. Actually, was surprised by the excellent quality. Normally I buy around 1000-1200 count Egyptian Cotton and these pillowcases have convinced me...1500 is twice the quality! Am ordering the complete set, am so very pleased. FYI...the color black is deep and lustrous. The style is subdued, elegant and the fabric, smooth and soft, and yes, luxurious. They haven't been washed as of yet however if they wash up with any irregularities will advise in another review. I doubt very much you will be disappointed in this product. Pamper yourself with these...you won't regret it.

The 1500 white king set from Amazon is great. But, the 1200 king white sheet set that I received from Amazon was not the item pictured. They were the correct Impressions by Luxor brand, but not the right style. I have two sets of the 1500 Impressions by Luxor sheets in the pictured style with 3-layered trim and they are superb, soft, and wonderful. But, I have tried two sets of the same brand in the regular 2-layered trim and they are awful, heavy, and scratchy like canvas. So, I think the varying reviews are due to quality control issues within the Impressions brand. I have several sets of the extra pillowcases in the 3-layered trim and they are great. If you can obtain a set with the 3-layered trim then I highly recommend. If you receive a 2-layered trim version, be wary.

The nicest sheets that I have ever had. Very heavy, but in a comforting way. Super soft. Keeps you warm in the winter and cool in the summer. The top sheet doesn't bunch up like a lot of other top sheets do. I will be buying only these from now on.

These pillowcases are as stiff and thick as a painter's drop cloth. Other reviewers contend that they get softer with each wash but I want to enjoy them now. Will return and purchase replacements at a local store where I can feel their heft and texture.

This set of sheets are full size and well made but the sensation is of muslin so if you want a satin finish look elsewhere. I like them, but don't love them... expect them to be robust and last forever, good but not great - too rough but under the margin of being bad. I'd buy them again, because they are tough...
