This is a nice, smaller sized board (kid size). FYI: You have to prime the chalkboard before using by rubbing the side of a piece of chalk all over it. If you don't, the chalk will not adhere appropriately.

This is made of super cheap wood. Screws that should be screwed in are not and they are stripped out. If you want a cheap easel go to Ikea and get theirs. It is only $15 and way better.

This is a fun easel for my just-turned 9-year old. But Macpherson failed to include the screws needed to attached the paint tray to the A-frame. I looked EVERYWHERE, even out to the street from where UPS carried it. So on the eve of my daughter's birthday, I had to load entire thing into the car, drive to Lowes, unload it into a cart to find a clerk to help with the correct screws for the metal screw receptacles. It's cute and my daughter loves it. Me? It's okay, just give yourself enough time to finish the manufacturer's job.

it was easy to put together, & all parts were included...
only drawback was the shipping box was pretty flimsy & it had a couple large rips across front & back when delivered, but fortunately there was no damage to easel...

The wood is very flimsy and we had to reinforce all the top with duct tape because the screws that are provided by the manufacturer are not long enough to hold the piece together. For what I paid for it, my expectations were higher for quality.

Now I see similar products for $29, which is still higher than I should have paid for it.

You can't fold it without taking the tray out, requires disassembly.Wood construction is a little flimsy. Paper needs clip or tape to keep in place.
