I bought this capo because, much the same as the reason you are probably looking at it, it was very cheap. I used it for about 2 hours, taking it off and putting it back on the fretboard once and changing frets once. Average use for the capo. It broke shortly after, catastrophically.

I understand that it's only $4. But don't waste your money. This is not something I would recommend to anyone. In the time it did work it was excellent. Splurge a little bit, spend the extra $5-$15. Don't buy.

*EDIT* I contacted the seller, and they gave me a full refund as well as completely disregarded me sending it back. Excellent customer service.

I imagine if we were professional guitar players, then the more expensive capo would have been on our list. Since we are not, we purchased this item and it works just perfect. I am not sure I can tell the difference from one that would have cost $20, in the sound produced using it. As of yet it hasn't broke and does exactly what it is supposed to do. I would recommend it in a heartbeat.

The spring snapped the first time I tried to put the capo on my guitar. I guess you get what you pay for...

Fortunately the seller BestDealUSA immediately refunded my money including shipping, and did not require me to send the broken capo back. I have no issues with the merchant, so five stars to them.

This capo is easy to use, it has a long top portion and a *weaker* spring so it moves fast, and never misses a string. The downside is that on guitars with a smaller neck it can be a bit too loose and cause humming.

i ordered two capos at the same time after some ninny stole my Shubb (lazy and want a capo per guitar kit bag.) i am not going to diss the other guy, but these quick change guys are a wonderful addition when you are changing keys by way of a "cheater" to vary up the sound. the device has pads that protect the neck finish and the spring is just the right tension to appropriately press down without needing a Harley rider's hands to remove or move the device to a new position. This is so much better than fiddling with screws in mid performance. I have also heard performers far more accomplished than myself speak well of this guy. I'd go with that. I am not sure how well it would do if you want to do a "partial" capo of just two or three strings, but this one works for me when i want a full, static barre.

Terrible -- These are not the same quality as the Jim Dunlop capo (which I also own and love) The capo does not push the strings down adequatly so the strings buzz. The rubber is also curved instead of lying flat. This causes the your low E and high E to push down but leaving the A, D,G, & B stings buzzing against the fret they are supposed to rest on.

I thought I stumbled onto something good so I bought three and none of them work. This product should not be available on here...very disappointed

This capo is much better than the $13 one I bought before. The spring is just right and the sound is solid when applied. This capo is really designed for a standard size acoustic guitar neck with a slight curvature frets.(Works but not to well on the wide flat neck classical guitar)
