Traverse Curtain Rod

This is a very sturdy curtain rod and has smooth mechanics. The drapes I have are lined/blackout drapes that fit a sliding glass door so they are fairly heavy and the rod does not have any problems handling them. I put it up by myself (I am not mechanically inclined) so anyone can with some patience. Definitely would recommend to anyone needing a drapery rod.

Very Average

Have several of this type of curtain rod. The other rods were much better. Issues with this rod are:

Poor mounting – only one end of the rod has the more substantial end mount. The other end has a weaker wall mount.

Mounting for string is worthless. Had to remove it because it was so poor.

Bottom line:
This rod will work, but you can do a lot better for the same price.

Better ordering explanation for us dummies required

Ordered wrong rods and didn't realize tell later that "draw" related to curtain and "right" related to pull string. I actually wanted the center draw with both "right" and "left" pulls available. Note, these rods only handle a single drape. Much too late for me to send back. Better ordering explanation for us dummies required.
P.S. Rods can handle old light weight drapes but are easily breaking with new heavy blackout drapes.

I'm starting to believe draw string rods are nothing but a pain.

it was so nice to be able to find this rod and get it so quickly....its still a quality piece and worth every penny of its cost....It went in easy and I even installed it in the same brackets the old one hung from for the last thirty years.....thank you

Poor product quality and inadequate packaging for shipping

This arrived bent in a couple of places. Packaging wasn't sturdy enough and product itself was very flimsy. Not what I expected at all from a brand name. You'll just be wasting your time and money if you purchase this traverse rod.

It worked but not well. Curtain gets stuck half the time at the expansion joint. I have to pull the cord back and forth until it moves past that point. I have the rod set at 64". It was easy to install and is sturdy enough to hold up the curtains.
