I bought this to use it for an inkpad for stamping hands at the door of a club and this product SUCKS for that. We used a felt pad and a nice big stamp and the ink was runny and didn't adhere well and only lasted about 4 hands before it was tossed away.

If you're trying to buy this for use as an ink for hand stamping for blacklights don't buy it. It's not the right one to buy.

I don't recommend this product.

Bottle says all purpose ink, but it doesn't work as ink for a nib/calligraphy pen. First it flows too fast and makes ink puddles, then it writes ok for a short time, then dries out. So not suitable if you want to use it for a pen, but I have not found any other ink that is suitable, so perhaps there is none produced.

Unfortunately, blue ink under blacklight is very faint. I really needed another "color" ink formy purposes. I do like that it is truly invisible on paper, but wish it was available in basically any color not blue or purple (which is what the blacklight tint is). I had to go with an much more expensive option off Amazon, where they sell yellow invisible ink.

Their is no difference between this blue UV and white paper under a UV light.
In fact you cannot see this blue at all.
It becomes exactly like white paper.
So it will work on black paper, maybe.
It is not bright.
It is cheap UV ink that will work on non white things.
Smells like alcohol which is not normal for ink.
What do you expect for this quantity and price?
Real deal stuff cost $40 for 4 oz

Very thin ink (rubbing alcohol consistency) - not great (serviceable, but not pretty) for calligraphy or painting since it bleeds, but will be awesome as stamp ink or maybe thickened with gum arabic.

Visible (when a blacklight's on) even in the sun. Obviously it's much more visible when there's less light out - but this stuff glows pretty strongly.

99% invisible on white paper; in bright light you'll be able to tell something's there if you know where to look, but it's very difficult to read or detect unless you saturate the paper. One caveat - if your paper uses optical brighteners or bleaches - well, they tend to fluoresce at about the same wavelength as this stuff.

I have some stuff that was written down 4 years ago - mostly kept in a room (not dark, not sun-bright). It still looks as bright as the day I wrote it.

Almost entirely invisible on skin. Didn't realize I had so much on my hands until I turned on the blacklight. The painted letters on my hand were readable after a day of normal soap-and-water handwashing, and detectable after four days.

Not washer-safe, two good washes and the ink's basically gone. Won't stick well to some smooth plastics (and will dry white on blackplastic). Doesn't mix well with other inks (too little and it doesn't glow, too much and it waters down the other ink). You'd do better to let another ink dry, then paint over it with this stuff unless you want diluted ink.

Very happy with this stuff; not a perfect ink but a damn good one!

I used this ink to tag my items, just in case my coworkers steal my work stuff… like my expiration date gun or my Santoku knife. Caught them red-handed! I just shone a UV light pen on the marking and it showed my name.

Too bad the (bleep)s didn't get punished. But at least they better not to mess with MY STUFF anymore!!!

Worked great for me, I used it to write clues on paper with a watercolor blender pen. product showed up great under a black light. I did use a dark colored paper, not sure how invisible it is with white paper.

Works well. What more can one say about ink. It even came in the correct color. Doesn't wash off very well.
