I purchased these cables for my new computer build and it works great. I found it a little difficult at first to connect to the hard drive due to the metal clasp but it is working great. Because of the round cable design it makes for a cleaner case interior.

I have a Antec P180 case and the SATA cables that came with my motherboard are flat and are 18 inches long. This resulted in the extra cable being bunched up in the motherboard area disturbing the cooling fan flow. These shorter cables were just the right size and keep the area very clean and let the air flow cleanly in the case.

There wasn't enough space to plug both the power and data connectors to the back of my HDD in my PC case, so I had to use sandpaper to trim down the thickness of the data cable on the left side. I don't like having to do that to connectors. I think the name fits: OK gear. It's just OK. I say, keep looking.
