I had the earlier model of this that got a little worn after the years. This was a replacement. Mistake. It sounded "tired" as soon as I turned it on after all night charging.

Put old one back in service..My old one no longer made. This newer model has different type battery Poor. They refunded me after 3 weeks.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PIECE OF GARBAGE!!!

Bought the first one about 18 months ago. Have gone through 4 warranty replacements in that time. All charging instructions were followed so the batteries should have been fine. And now they will not replace it any more since the original warranty ran out, even though the unit in question was a replacement unit that is only 5 months old. Asked for a supervisor and they direct me to corporate since no one can over-rule their policy.

Forget this company and their lack of customer support. Just the worst rip-off.

I love them!!! I tried buying cheaper neck trimmers. They wouldn't stay charged, pulled my clients hair or raked them. I finally spent only a little more and I am astatic with happiness. So are my clients! I'm so glad I found these clippers. My friend recommended them to me and I found them for less on Amazon.

What a difference between this one and a previous, more expensive model I used to own. This was stays charged forever and works great. The other one used to die after a few minutes and never charged well at all. And it cost a lot more. Glad I tried this one.

This has been the worst experience I've ever had with a trimmer. It just doesn't hold the charge. It stays in the charger all the time so I have no idea as to what the problem is. Within the first year it was replaced with a new one and the new one is doing the same thing. Very disappointed!! Going in search of a brand that works.

Have bought andis trimmer and it did not last a year. Beautician recommend this brand (Babyliss) and so far I am very pleased with the product. It trims closer to the face and does not run out of battery power like the last one always did. Also this can be used with or without cord attached. So it means I am safe in case the battery goes weak I can still use it with the cord. Great Product!!

I am a pro barber. Lets face it folks, a cordless trimmer will NEVER be as strong as a corded trimmer. With that being said this FX 780 cuts sideburns & neck lines very well with decent power. They cut better than any Andis, Wahl, Oster pro cordless trimmers that I have used in the past.
Also the blades on the FX 780 fit the corded Babyliss mini trimmer (FX 49) & the Beliss Pro mini trimmer (FX 48) which I also use, so it is nice having corded & cordless trimmers that use the same blades.
Time will tell how long they last
