Without a doubt the most effective medication I have ever found to assist me with controlling the histamine production during allergy season. My head plugs up so badly that no matter what I do it feels like I am drowning. With this medication I can actually breath through my nose and sleep through the night. Almost no sinus headaches either. I have a routine that this medication has become a part of. being comfortable during allergy season is a blessing that is almost impossible to explain to someone else. The benefits are not immediate. I had to use an entire box before the optimal results were achieved for me. I hope they work as well for anyone willing to experiment with the dosage and fluid intake required to maximize the results as they have for me.

I was once a Mucinex user as well as Tylenol sinus. My allergies are terrible as well but the Alka Seltzer Plus Severe Sinus Congestion Allergy and Cough is wonderful for all sypmtoms with the exception of the drowsiness that comes with it. The only way I can take this is before bed so I am sleeping and the medication is in my system to make it through work.

The Alka-Seltzer Plus product seems to relieve the symptoms better than any other over the counter product we have tried--and we have tried most of them. Due to other issues with blood pressure and diabetes, there are some medications he can't use. This one works best--especially against the cough.

I was once a Mucinex user but their prices skyrocketed. This stuff works just fine but I agree with everyone else...the pills are HUGE.

It also makes me pretty drowsy, even though I don't think it's supposed to (reason for 4 stars instead of 5).

A lot of sinus medicines do one thing or another to relieve sinus symptoms. This version of Alka-Seltzer Plus eliminates all the symptoms at once. One of the biggest problems is sinus drainage brought on by the decongestant, which turns to post-nasal drip that causes a cough.
