It is much darker then in the pic. Also it is hell to put together. Once put together, it really is a nice table. When they shipped it to me, they only sent half the order. I was pissed!! Had to wait 5 more days to get the rest. Seems to me their is no clear coat on the stained wood. So your prob going to have to get a water seal clear coat n put on it.

Had my friend put it together. It's definitely not easy. It looks really perfect and it's sturdy. The table is really small but I suppose for a nook that's ok. When finished it really looks nice. Percent for a small corner area.
