I was very pleasantly surprised upon opening the box. This is a nice, heavy, high quality pot. I wasn't too impressed by the picture on Amazon, and when looking at it, I mistook the circular indents around the top for rivets (which they are NOT....no rivets). It also has large, very clearly stamped measurement markers on the inside. Very happy with the purchase. I've posted a picture of the measurement markers. It also has a nice thick bottom.

I have a Cuisinart CPC-600 Electric Pressure Cooker that came with a nonstick pot. I wanted more versatility so I looked into steaming inserts and racks. I found Secura 6-quart Electric Pressure Cooker Steam Rack Basket Set but was concerned that it might scratch the nonstick surface. A bit more investigation and I discovered this stainless steel pot!

It fits my pressure cooker perfectly. This pan has a nice heavy bottom and is very easy to clean. It is quite a bit heavier than the original pot and feels like it will last forever. The original nonstick pot that came with my pressure cooker is now stored in the cupboard!

I also bought the Rack and Basket Set mentioned above and I highly recommend it!

I've enjoyed my Fagor Presure/Multi Cooker for a couple years. I very recently came across and purchased this stainless pot; I may simply never use the original non stick pot ever again! This pot is heavy duty, high quality stainless. My multi cooker seems to perform even better with the stainless; I've had no center bottom scorching with the stainless pot as has sometimes been the case with the non stick one.

I really have to thank the Amazon reviewers who purchased this and took the time to relate their experiences. I was falling out of love with my electric pressure cooker because it kept cutting off before the food was fully cooked. Just when I was ready to kick it to the curb, a reviewer mentioned the Secu Stainless pot and further mentioned that it could fit most 6 qt pressure cookers.

The results of swapping out the teflon coated pot with this one have been fantastic. Stews, chili, roasts, oxtails, etc, not only are able to cook much longer but the food doesn't burn in the bottom on high and the cooker comes up to pressure as it should.

The pot is fully Stainless and distributes heat so well, I could almost mistake it for one of my AllClad pieces.

If it helps, I have the Emeril 6qt, that replaced my Cuisinart, that just wouldn't cook right, not matter what I did.

I know that Amazon reviews can be hit or miss, but please know that before you consider ditching your electric pressure cooker, giving this pot a chance may save your sanity and your wallet.

This fit perfectly inside my Cuisinart Electric Pressure Cooker. High Quality stainless steel, super smooth shiny finish, bottom of pan is thick similar to those 3-ply stainless steel cooking pans. Highly recommend this if your looking to replace your Teflon insert.

I wanted a second pot and I was concerned about the non-stick coating on the one that came with my Nesco 6 quart Pressure Cooker. I was thrilled to find this, and lo and behold it fit! It does stick up a little more than the pot that came with the cooker because they have different shaped bottoms. When you place the pot in the lid does fit fine and it sealed perfectly, I've used it three times thus far. I'm happy to extend the life of my cooker as well as to have a Stainless option that will last. I have the Nesco PC-6-25. Now to find a new sealing ring!

I use this electric cooker as an automatic rice cooker...no burnt bottoms and perfect rice using a pot in pot method with the trivet. I've also had luck pressure cooking hard boiled eggs on the low setting using a rack to hold the eggs up and away from one another. What a lovely thing to learn. The eggs peel effortlessly as they are steamed rather than boiled. I love the electronic Pressure Cooker because you don't have to remember to turn down the heat and it beeps when the times up. I also use three other pressure cookers on my gas stove for the same and other items, but the stainless pot addition has made me more eager to use this cooker as I'm not afraid of scratching up the non-stick coating when using my trivet.

This fits my Fagor 670040230 Stainless-Steel 3-in-1 6-Quart Multi-Cookerperfectly. Exactly the same size as the original non stick pot. Now I do not have to use the non stick pot.
I love my fagor pressure cooker, except 2 things. The non stick pot and it does not cook rice well. At least this stainless steel pot solves one problem.

Own a Cuisinart electric pressure cooker (CPC-600 or CPC-1200)? Thinking of getting an Instant Pot for the stainless steel cooking pot? Get this SS insert pot instead and save yourself $100+ bucks.

Great heavyweight SS pot with cladding on bottom to ensure even heating. Has both cup measurements and fractions (i.e. 2/5 full, 3/5 full) of how full pot is markings stamped into the metal readable on the inside wall of the pot. It seems of such good quality and build and the bottom cladding makes one believe it could be used as a stovetop pot also (I wouldn't do that for fear of ruining the finish or warping)....I don't recommend that you do so but it looks and feels like you could.

Performs as you would expect stainless steel to work.

Huge value at $30.

UPDATE 10/16/14 - Had a disaster with this pot. I was making my usual fall/winter stew and my Cuisinart shut off just after coming to pressure. I released the pressure and checked my uncooked stew and found the barley had sunk to the bottom and burned/scorched and was stuck to the bottom. Gave up on the stainless insert and transferred to the unit's old non-stick insert to finish cooking. After researching, I believe the Cuisinart shut off after sensing the overheating of the bottom of the cooking insert. Not sure how to rate the Stainless insert now. I feel the non-stick insert has its merits as I've not had anything ever burn on the bottom using the non-stick insert. Lowered my rating to 3 stars for this stainless steel insert.
