This case is slim and attractive, but it is far too flimsy. It does not actually serve any function other than protecting from scratches and having a bright lovely color. I have a similar ultra thin case in another color by a different manufacturer that functioned well as it protrudes slightly beyond the edge of the phone so that when you drop it, the front glass of the phone doesn't actually hit the ground. (If you're looking for an ultra thin case with the extension, the brand is SONIX) This case on the other hand, does NOT extend beyond the edge. The first time I used it I dropped the phone and immediately noticed that I had chipped the front glass.

I do not recommend purchasing this case if your goal is to protect your phone.
