Made in the U.S.A. but virtually unobtainable at grocery stores, Wash Away is the miracle stain remover your mother told you about, or should have. Whink has a reputation for making laundry products that actually work, and Wash Away is one of their best. Good for whites, good for colors. Good on fresh stains, good on set-in stains. Always gets the stain out, never damages the fabric.

The 3-pack here is a ridiculously good savings, if you can get it near the sale price of $13-$14. Just be careful, it goes in and out of stock.

NOTE: Picture does not show it, but bottle is squirt-top.

When my wife and I were first married, a fellow shopper in the local grocery store recommended that we try this product. That was 35 years ago. We immediately fell in love with the product. Year after year, its taken out an amazing collection of spots and stains on all kinds of fabrics, without damaging any of them. It works better than anything else we tried, and we tried quite a few when the local grocer was out of stock. Now that we can buy Whink products on Amazon, we no longer need to experiment.

Okay, I had to try this product as I was giving up hope with other products....
Previously, I had used the Mennen Speed Stick Stainguard underarm deodorant but it ruined my shirts/t-shirts by creating a grayish/blackish arm pit stain that was not coming out.

Saturated t-shirt (white AND coloured) underarm stains with Whink Wash Away, some a few days prior to washing and others the day before washing.
I was surprised - old deodorant stains were removed. You can clearly see the delineation where the solution was & was not applied adequately.
The 2 pix I uploaded shows where the stains were removed and what remained, will have to re-apply it more thoroughly the next round of washing...

White t-shirt yellow underarm stains, not sure about them, will have to apply it again and let the solution soak in for 3 - 4 days (you can apply it up to 5 days prior to washing).
Will also try it on a couple of my dress/work shirts to see how effective it is on removing those old Stainguard deodorant stains...

It also worked on some kind of old VERY noticeable grease stain I inadvertently got on a nice gray sweat shirt, right shoulder. Stain's been there for several washings & drying (at high heat, which I no longer do). Soaked the stain for a couple of days - after washing, it is gone.

AND, it worked on getting old blood out of a yellow bath towel.

So, I'm kind of hooked on this product but only gave it 4.5 stars due to it not having a spray nozzle but a squirt type nozzle.

I've used Wash Away for several years, but have been unable to find it locally. Glad to find it on Amazon. It is a really good stain remove, not harsh on clothes, and does not have a chemical smell. I would recommend that everyone keep a bottle in their laundry room.

I loved the Whink Carpet Stain Remover and when I read the reviews for the Whink Wash Away stain remover for clothes I was excited to try it. However, I have not found it any better than my other pre-treaters or other stain removers. Perhaps I just haven't had any stains that my other stain removers couldn't get rid of, but so far I don't see a big difference. I don't know. It also is the consistency of water and squirts out quickly, so I feel like I waste more of it than I should. To eliminate some of the waste, put the fabric stain on top of the open bottle, then turn bottle upside down to soak garment's stained area.

Folks rate this stuff too highly. I expected the miracle liquid but it is like the oxy stuff, you buy it and when it arrives you expect this wonder to remover any stain whatsoever, no matter how impossible it might be. So you follow the directions to the letter but when your clothes come out of the machines looking like they went in you feel like dumping the stuff in the toilet. I can't tell you what to expect but don't think it is like Santa bringing you a brand new car because you will be disappointed just as sure as that the credit card bill comes in January (ugh).

Can NOT do without. Use for grease, removes BLOOD, been using since nursing school in the 1970s. Buy it by the case. Before my husband died of mesothelioma he cut his foot which bled all over a 13" area of carpet. Soaked it in a small bottle of Wash Away & there was NO evidence of any carpet stain. Can not say too much about this gem.
